I do agree that it is better to create your own art rather than have ai generate it because: 1. It saves you time from searching for a specific thing that AI is trying to emulate and give you, but cant find that certain taste/style you want. 2. It's fun to make things yourself and there's more self gratification once you're done with a piece (especially when you spend time honing your craft to create and image you want).
I'm so happy every time you upload a vlog coz whatever the topics you talk about it feels like you're speaking directly to my soul!! I felt deeply when you talked about creating/building something/working towards something as I'm a bit disoriented lately and lost my direction. Also I too like when artists talk about their state of mind/inner thoughts/their inner journey while doing art, it's so interesting!! Thanks for sharing =)
I would love LOVE draw with me!! Also I lowkey get more productive and focused whenever I watch your Q&As. Glad your back here and we are definitely excited about your comic
I honestly love your videos so much. The topics you discuss the way you acknowledge your growth - it's very inspiring. Thank you for sharing as always.
I know exactly what you mean by having to work toward now by working on a comic, I doodle a lot and do a doodle page a day and while it’s fun it’s not as rewarding since k I feel it’s aiming toward nothing or it has no purpose while working on a story allows you to to work more on not only your skills but also I’m your own thoughts and feeling through this is ideal. Your talk about this hit so close tk home I thought I was the only one😂but thank you for sharing perhaps making a comic or a project is what I need to do to feel like I’m heading somewhere with art 🥹
I've been trying to use AI for design, but unless its something common or generic, I've found that AI really can't do the simplest unique things. I can use it for basics likes 'flamingo with purple santa hat' but ask it for some cool concept art and maybe... maybe it'll give you a starting point.
I personally think AI can be useful for ideas like we use pinterest. Or for roleplays for people that dont draw or want to draw for that. But for selling or saying that its your art when its not thats a different story.
If Ai was trained differently with consent and compensation, and respect for the artists and the work that was used for training it then I would support it but in the current state as it is, I can’t.
@hazelyhaste Ai images can and will be used for advertising for movies for games and as the technology advances all the art that went into training it will be indispensable, the licenses for companies to use the ai is sold for a less money than will ever be payed to the artists, and the profits for big agencies will grow, while artists are left struggling to find jobs, do you not see how that is an issue? As of right now ai may not pose much of an issue, but at the rate that it’s improving and with the conversations I’ve seen going down around it, it’s a very real thing to be concerned about how the engines where trained.
Yes, I do, and I am currently studying to get my bachelors degree in animation, I keep up with the industry as much as I can because this has the ability to actively harm my livelihood.
@@solarydays I never said I was working full time, I work part time and freelance. We clearly have differing points of view and you clearly don’t want to respect the time or effort that goes into learning and making art, I hope you have a good day or night.
How would it be remotely useful when the outputs ai users post are so same-y? Pinterest is also trash due to being rampant with reposted, credit-less art and learning resources.
