And you’ve fallen in love with the Terriers - not to worry it happens to all of us. Whilst not particularly accurate a very pleasant model indeed, and to think if it was to scale it would be even smaller. Usually I’m not one for back scenes but I really do like those. -Regards
Such a beauty in the SECR livery. I just received Hornby's Stepney. Speed limit on branch lines was 25 mph. YOU"RE SPEEDING! Remember to break it in forward and reverse. N gauge is a wise choice allowing more details for your limited space.
hi Dan.....smashing little loco...looks great running round....am still amazed at the way the backscenes blend in so well...so incredibly realistic...ade
Stunning model, it’s truly incredible the detail have achieved. It’s almost a shame it needs the ‘enormous’ rapido couplings, isn’t it? Thank you for showing us, and a great addition to your layout.
I really like your videos Dan, I appreciate your work in developing your railway. Admittedly I think we all started out simple like this. Keep up the great work.
Been meaning to get the newer Terrier, managed to get one from ebay ages ago and found it had some damage to it (which explained the price), while I do love the liveries of the pre-grouping engines I'd be getting the BR black one as that's the time period I mostly do. I see they still sound like a bee buzzing around inside it when it's at speed.
Not just yet, I am going to keep it all freight for the time being, but when the layout gets expanded there will be a town and passenger station, so I will see what I can do!

It's great to see you back with trains!
I have been eyeing this model up in my local model shop for a few weeks now, so very tempted to go buy it, such a lovely little loco
Your review was definitely very helpful and certainly encouraged my purchase, thanks Dan, I am very happy with my new little Dapol loco.

Thanks, plenty of work to do though!
Train looks much better at slower speeds Dan, do you intend to weather everything or do you prefer to keep them as out of the box?.
Crikey Dan i hope you ran that in a bit first! It looks great love it,but its far to small for my sausage fingers lol ;)
Will you be getting coach's
