Hi dows I've just received two of these little terriers like you said they are amazing but they were both touchie the one was a bit jerky and the other start moving then the wheels would stop and the motor was trying to go but they are working well now but they only seem to like working at 50%speed great video
It’s actually an A/A1 class. When stroudley first created them they were called A, and they were later renamed A1. The A1x is the condition most of the surviving locos were converted to in the early 20th century, with a larger boiler and smoke box, the absence of condensers, and fitting of steam injectors instead of the donkey pump system of the A1. Very nice model, although I have OO.
I've just ordered this exact loco today. I can't believe the amount and level of detail on it for the size of it. Would you happen to know what sort of coaches it would pull in this livery. I was looking at the Dapol 3-pack of Maunsell coaches, but not sure if they're correct for it. Cheers.
@@dowsrail5996 Thanks for the reply. I'll go with the Maunsells for its usual rake then. Luckily it'll be running on a fictional preserved railway, so will probably be seen with what ever when ever. Thank goodness for Rule 1 eh? Cheers again.
Really enjoyed this review. Thank you. Not sure if you've heard this before but to me you sound rather like Brian Cox.
Right then I am getting my own . I am gunna get Stepney
Amazing detail.....like to see this layout develop...

I'm a 00 guy but I love terriers I would get 1in n gauge and do a little layout if I can get them in different livery
you can get a Brighton works one too
Beautiful layout with magnificent locos. 👍
Is the locomotive DCC ready?
Got one on its way, can`t wait!

There aren't that many in N-gauge. The Maunsells seem to be the consensus 'correct' carriages. I run LMS maroon as they match the livery better.

@@2KXMKR Rule 1 is the most important rule.
