that mesh you're using would be perfect for gardening. you need to come up with a "recycle me"tag. the wood ashes,and charcoal, become fertilizer. the bag is a tomato support,( you make a stake or pole of hemlock one inch diameter about 7 feet long, shove it in the ground a foot or 2 deep next to the baby plant ,then put the bag over the plant , tie the bag to the pole. the tomato branches grow through the mesh and are supported. ) put the mesh over plants and bushes to keep birds,turtles and rabbits from eating the best berries and fruit . after harvesting onions,garlic. small pumpkins, acorn squash,apples pears, potatoes can be stored in a cellar or shed ,(above frezzeing) in the bags.if you could get small enough mesh, saw dust and wood chips are used to retain water when worked into the garden soil.

SO impressive, and I'll tell you why...
Lots of people have a work ethic which pushes them to do some bombastic type of work...but in spurts.
What really proves something is the discipline to take on, and stick to, tedious tasks like this.

Small hint, if you start your palate always from the back or furthest point you'll only handle once and not have to rearrange or reach over bundles, (less traveling also). You'll have more energy for picking up all that edging,,Lol! Great job guys!

@@vsavage_old_rockerz it is true of ANY product. Stack farthest away first. I'm 51 and can run a container faster than most guys half my age. I don't have to, but I can, and the young guys who have seen me do it warn the guys that haven't. "Don't Fuck with that old dude, he will work you to death."
Brings back memories of when I cleared a lot for firewood when we heated with wood. Felled the trees, cut and split (by hand) several cord.

I like the turn table made from a wheelbarrow tire that you guys put the firewood bundle packing form on, it is much easier to spin the bundle to get the pieces to fit than spin them. I can imagine that being motorized and part of an automated packager with a tapered hopper above it in the future. Someone there is an inventor and has spent a lot of time packing firewood to come up with that idea!

Have you considered adding a horizontal blade to the wood splitter?
Mine is removable and really helps when doing small wood.
Don't wanna seem judgemental,but you guys are doing everything the hard way. I cut,split,bundled,and sold over 18000 last year. Have 5 years experience of learning efficiency the hard way. Not sure where you are, but great to see the effort

Just had your channel come up and watched a few episodes. You have an amazing family operation there. As a retired UPS driver I always tried to accommodate the small businesses the best I could considering the larger competition they were up against! Also, the bigger companies get the less customer service and efficiency they provide! Your family is hard working and you’ve also proven that women are not limited to certain jobs in the workplace. going camping in eastern CT this weekend with my daughters. We will be buying camp firewood. But im pretty sure we are not supposed to bring over state lines because of bugs and/or tree disease ? it is probably local wood. same thing when we go to Maine, we buy the fire wood up there, local. You all do an awesome job!

Its SO great to see young folks learning the concept of work and the importance of a strong work ethic! After my experiences trying out young new hires for entry level laborer/training green horns in the Millennial, and WORSE YET the XY Generations, I have lost ALL hope for the future of humanity, or at least the near future of the US work force. These videos remind me that there are still SOME parents who fight against today's lazy, tech-decay, entitlement mind set, to instill life skills and the fundamentals of working and earning your way in life! It fill me with HOPE to see young people working hard, together, and efficiently, and WITHOUT incessant whining! You folks deserve (more than) a HUGE Congrats and THANK YOU!!
