There is a handheld VHF on the red Excel @ 6:43 on top of the stuff bag in the bow (you can tell by the stubby antenna, I have one just the same as a backup to my Cobra HH500). But I agree it’s not sensible to go without a PFD / life jacket. Even in the warmest weather and calmest water it’s still possible for the conditions to change in a matter of minutes, and cold water shock even in the summer in UK waters away from the shore will seriously hamper even the most proficient swimmer’s ability to swim back to and board a boat.

You can get glue on pads for fish finders (Scotty #341-GR Glue-on Pad) that's the name if you haven't already mounted it

no need! but you need common sens like life jackets and radio.

I wouldn’t say no need. It’s not a legal requirement but I would argue that you need to have insurance and have passed RYA L2 powerboat. Imagine if you injure or damage someone or something without insurance? Also the L2 coastal will give you a good grounding in using powerboats / ribs / sibs on the water, what to look out for and what can cause you trouble and how to avoid it.

Povilas Kuznecovas the floor is very solid once inflated to the correct pressure, there was no issues with four people on board plus equipment. Just make sure you don’t drop sharp objects like your fishing knife and it will be fine.
