Yeah. War Thunder is absolutely fantastic with planes, but the realism of War Thunder: Ground Forces makes it, in my opinion, far less fun than World of Tanks.

WT succeeds in the planes department.....where WoT succeeds in the tanks department.
What makes WG better than Gaijin is that WG properly separated the tiers accordingly to the firepower of the vehicle. WT only goes up to tier 5, and the 'brackets' in matchmaking are mismatched, to say the least. Without knowing the exact data, im figuring tier 1 is bracketed with tier 2 and low end tier 3, with mid to high end tier 3 bracketing with tier 4 and low tier 5, and mid tier 4 going with all levels of tier 5. Translation: You will be no-funzoned by an incredible majority of matchmade games, because more powerful vehicles will be matched with your not-that-great one.

Damn this video was funny. I love how jingles just spectates that guy in the airplane killing the entire enemy team and watch him fly around like an ace, it was just so funny to me because nobody else can play it and he just does everything perfect. Another thing was when jingles was talking about unplugging the joy stick and saying he flew into a mountain so casually

Well to be fair, and even Jingles said something similar, Warships focused on the Pacific war at first. So US and Japanese ships were the flavor of the beginning. They then started to move on to the other naval conflicts and the nation's that took part. Should the British have been added in sooner than they were? Absolutely, but I can't really blame war gaming for their choice of first trees either.
Royal Navy should have been the third fleet added to WoWs but oh well it wasn't.

Warthunder is better is more realistic with Pliot knock outs and no health bars and your health is the amount of damage you can take before get set of fire or losing a part

Bozman117 its just called realistic because when you move your plane around it moves realistic ,there is also simulator battles mode where either you use virtual joystick which you controls with your mouse but its close enough to a real joystick flight...
WOWP is an OK game, but most of us can agree that War Thunder is better in every possible game

GreekFireGaming I used to play WOWP very often until recently they destroyed any playability the game had left in some of the worst updates i have ever seen a game go through it’s almost like they’re trying to get players to leave so they can shut down the game.
Let's hope WoWs won't be a fail

lil' info for ya jingles on the Bf-109 "Zwilling" it was made to tow the Me-321 giant glider which would get it into the air sadly this didnt always go smoothly as the cables would get tied up (needed 2-3 "Zwillings" to get airborne) which caused all the planes to crash. Also they made a "zwilling" version on the H-111 still the same result everyone crashes everyone dies (moslty)

Just downloaded and played this game today. It's actually very fun and easy to learn. I have 6 kills in a game already today. Wot is much harder to learn. Great graphics I think. More fun than wows
Jim Friend Either you're trying to trigger someone, or you have a very different idea of enjoyment to the rest of the population, you would get a more invigorating experience in WT arcade that WoWP.

Has a few good aspects, but they are sadly few.
I do have to give them credit for the music they composed for the game. It's quite good, actually.

I like World of Warplanes, I really do. But no one plays it anymore and its sad. They got the graphics really good in its latest version and added spitfires and fixed the tech trees. It is a really good game now, if only some people would see that. Besides the 700 people that are online at a givin time. Try it out see if its better. Also, maybe i like it because war thunder LAGS alot for me. I dont know but i love WOWP

Aidan Shourds i gave up on this game a year ago.. .. after the devs messed up all the controls.. just when i had started to get use to them.. with mouse and keyboard. i did manage to get over 4,000 battles into it .. before the game turned from fun to frustration
I just like the WT damage system a lot better, there's nothing like sniping the pilot outa a jet fighter with a prop plane or one shoting enemy planes with my cannons cause I know where to ai.I get the appeal of games like WOWP but I like the way WT works rather than WOWP

World of Warplanes has gotten much better. They now have a FW 109, and the controls are a lot smoother.

Ta-183 should be the T10, great counterpart to the Sabre, even though they never produced one, I don't think, it made a great presentation in IL 2 Sturmovik.

Never liked the Fw's, but I never liked the P-51s either, I couldnt stand the way they handled but theyre supposed to be good, in a game like this, probably be a lot of people who'd like them.
Now, like you said, its nice to have prototypes and blueprints to take into action, but this is ridiculous, even for the Japanese, I know they had a number of other fighters besides just Zeros that existed, I think a bunch of mainland based fighters that didnt see as much action.

Once they have finished with their "World of [Insert Vehicle Name Here]" series, they should make one that combines them all and first person gameplay called "World of War"

War thunder ground forces is coming out soon ,i played world of tanks got to tier 9 and it is a good game i have absolutely nothing against it and i agree its really good but war thunder ground forces are made extremly realistic and fun and when i tried playing it it feels more fun then world of tanks ...
StodOne WoT is complete arcade but WT ground forces have a more realistic edge even in arcade battles. I find WT better than WoT

Worst free to play. get warthunder
I installed WoWP while it was in beta and gave up after a dozen battles. I reinstalled the game after it was released mainly to finish the training to get the free gold to be used in WoT. I did fly a couple of battles and now WoWP is uninstalled again. I don't think I'll try it until there are some improvements to it. But enjoy WoWP if you like it - clearly it's down to personal opinion. Please try WT at least (and maybe the new IL-2 game when that is available).
I too was accepted into the closed beta of the game, it was fun in beta, not so much fun anymore though.

But really? Complaining about prototypes and on-paper designs when that is like, 60% of all the tanks in WoT?

I was just saying that to really get to the bottom of it, you'd have to go back and look at WoT's update history in regards to prototypes vs real tanks added to the game, to see how it compares to WoWP. And ain't nobody got time for that.
I know I'm rather late to comment, but the reason he complained is the lack of real planes. Sure many tanks in wot were prototypes, but there are still a lot of well known real tanks. In this, there's like 4-5 real planes (with 2-3 being recognizable) and the rest prototypes.
Bf 109 Z was a concept that was basically a german F82 Twin Mustang made with 109's

Worth noting: the Japanese aircraft that Jingles refers to as a work of fiction were real-world designs, fully engineered and ready for the flight-testing stage, but never actually constructed due to the war's end. They may have never seen the light of day, but the Shinden and all of those others are hardly pulled from nowhere.

Yeah war thunder has a few issues but I don't notice them, once more tanks are in and more people are playing the problems will solve themselves and if they don't gaijin will be forced to fix it. Even if im not shooting things it feels so nice
+Megawatt Muffin one thing i love so much about War Thunder is shooting the guns, especially the 152mm on the KV-2 just hearing that big boom from the cannon then seeing the tank in front of you burst into flames, its so satisfying!
+matt leppen exactly the problems don't worry me because all the guns feel unique. Firing a big gun sounds and feels like your firing a big gun especially seeing the damage your dealing it feels so good and I really hope more people play so gaijin can improve and do more

WoWP is epic and total shit. The controls are pure garbage and that is what makes it so aweful. Cheesy graphics I can deal with... but when the controls are so garbage that it makes the game unplayable? Not worth my time. War Thunder you can jump into and learn to fly within minutes. WoWP fails beyond belief. Nuff said.
Only reason I watch it is because Jingles owns and his commentary make ANY game he plays well worth it. Keep up the awesome work Jingles. I wish I was half as good as you with my commentary.

I'm not disagreeing with you about Warthunder, its a beautiful game and mouse control is just fine, but I really fancied using a joystick as it feels slightly more realistic and yet the wobble is just atrocious. Checking the forums it is obviously a much complained about issue but there doesn't seem to be any response from the developers.I've stopped playing Warthunder because of this. Shame WOWP sounds just as bad on the joystick front .
AH I see what you mean. Ya, I enjoy mouse and keyboard more. I have a good joystick, but I prefer M&K simply because I can remap everything and make it easier for me since there are more buttons. :)

War thunder is in beta, it looks better. A game should only be in beta if it is half decent. Wow still has lots of work that needs to be done on it, and this work should be done before the game is upgraded to a beta
