Hi I’m going to Cancun with my mom first ever vacation for her ! Birthday celebration… is imberostar good choice? I was thinking as well about secrets the vine … there is so many out there, we are flexible with the budget, we care about nice ocean water, pools and some fun 🤩
Maybe! See what your travel agent recommends in your budget. STV is nice too. More walkable if you plan to go offsite.

Great video you guys. Please tell me this. I have knee issues and going up and down stairs is a problem wirh me. Does this resort have facilities in place ( ramps, golf carts etc) to help me get everywhere I might want to go? (ie: from room to restaurants next door at the family resort, down to the beach, ) Thanks so much h, Steve S.
The bellhops have golf carts, I’m sure you could get a ride if you needed to get over to the family side.
Sorry if you already mentioned this but do you pay extra for top shelf liquor and if so, around how much?
Some things are extra, but nothing I was interested in. For example, my liquor of choice is Don Julio or Malibu, and they are included.
We just returned from Atelier but this looks great too!
We so look forward to our return to Atelier! It will likely be our last time we go there 🥹

You need to book the Coral hotel to stay or go there. Your travel agent will know what to do.
What transportation company do you typically use to get from airport to resort?
We switch between a handful of companies. This time was Kalido.

great video! per your experience, until what time are the "pool games" going? I wouldn't enjoy it if there was a guy screaming with a mic for a long time. Also did the live music outside go on til late too? On the 10th floor you can hear it loud? Thanks in advance!

Hi Brittney, Love the candidness in these videos. I know you mentioned long ago you don't normally like high rise resorts. Did this hotel reconfirm that notion? Also, really nice to see Kevin in all these videos--really gives two interesting perspectives to wherever you go!
No, and I’ll touch on this in the review video. It didn’t really feel that condensed because the family resort next door is sprawling! If we didn’t walk next door for some dinners, the gym and the coffee shop, I probably would have the same feeling of not loving the motion of only going up and down. It felt much more open and I enjoyed it more than how I felt at Live Aqua and Secrets the Vine. Thanks for asking. Good to see your name pop up, it’s been a minute!

I love your videos. Would love to see you go to puerto rico or us virgin islands. We are thinking of one of those for 2025 but not sure yet. Kind of want to stay in the states since Mexico is so crazy.
Thank you! We have no plans for those locations since they do not offer all inclusive resorts, and that's what I sell. I feel so much safer in Mexico than I do in NYC 🙂

Hello. It's been a long time since I've commented but still watch all of your videos (amongst the best on youtube). We are considering this hotel for December. Does the family side have a kids club, etc. that you're aware of? Just wondering how many kids are actually around as staying at the AO you still have to go to the family side for more restaurants, etc.
Hi! Yes, there’s a kids club. I only ate over there once, and there was not one child in my restaurant while I was in there. It will all depend on when you travel and how occupancy levels are. We much preferred the food at coral so we chose to eat there as much as possible.
Did your clear tumblers keep your drinks cold? I want to get a new one that is skinnier and ditch my bubba mug.

Cannot wait for your review. This resort is SEVERELY overrated, in my opinion.

@MemoriesandMojitosTravel TripAdvisor. It's easily the worst "5 star-claiming" property that I've been to of 40 AIs. There's no way this place is 5 star, no freakin' way. It's maybe a 4 star, but the shape of the hallways & elevator, the lack of a true lobby bar, the small buffet, the singular restaurant, weak pool, the limited room service menu, all the amenities being next door, the over sterile room design - it's overpriced and overrated, far from 5 star. Coral Level Bavaro is significantly better.
@gobaliksocials star ratings are not actually decided on the service you receive, it’s based on the amenities provided 😊 We fully enjoyed it but knew exactly what is was and wasn’t.
@MemoriesandMojitosTravel Fully agree. Amenities wise, this place was weak. They might as well make Coral Level a room category for Iberostar Selection Cancun. At least you guys enjoyed it, that's what matters.
