- The Australian’s Media Writer Sophie Elsworth says people are being “tight-lipped” on if WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange is set to make any money out of his first interview in Australia.
“You would think so, I do not know for sure, I have been asking around if he has interviews or book deals and people are very tight-lipped,” she said.
“I would suspect he thinks this is his moment, maybe he could make significant money out of this.”

Julian Assange would make a good PM. He's not a paid puppet and held his own like a man's man in the lock-up. Most of his critics wouldn't last 10 minutes going through what he went through. Julian Assange is a true man of our times, doing what he felt was right and never backing down. All you critics bow your heads in shame.
I saw an interview he did at some stage, must’ve been years ago. He stayed cool & collected, he kept to the facts & when the interviewer said things that wasn’t correct he just gave him the facts. He never got emotional or upset or said anything nasty about anybody. I was really impressed with the way he conducted that interview. Where I can stand to listen to Albenese, he always comes across as angry, victim, emotional & degrading to other people. I saw Ben Carson on the view & the way he answered all those stupid questions was so polite & he gave his opinion in a calm & collected way with out putting any of those ladies on the view down.
I think he should have a reality show. Or maybe host a game show. But a cool, geopolitically themed quiz show, that's very topical and deals with the west's ongoing hegemonic decline as a running theme. I can just picture the camera cutting back to his face at all these different angles and zooming in. And a reality show of course would be very doable. Everyone's so interested in his personal life with his wife and kids now, and they're really invested in him on that level. So that could be cool too. With plenty of screen time for him to reflect and opine on, whatever, the current state of affairs in world politics and his various musings on injustice and human nature, and press freedom of course. Things of that nature. Let's face it, he's a celebrity at this point. It's only natural for him to have his own show of some kind.

I would like an explanation for how this falls under the category of "news" by UA-cam standards, as well as why the algorithms appear to favour this sort of content - with it rarely being absent from my feed - despite never watching content from this channel.
There appears to be little to no objective reporting contained within this video - perhaps not too dissimilar - or lacking in objective oversight demonstrated by the loose and haphazard standards and guidelines implemented by UA-cam, opting to put the Murdoch "Media" within the realm of "news", as opposed to say, entertainment.

Julian Assange has two distinct possible futures.. On one hand he can now peacefully retire, write several books, which I am sure would be picked up by major publishing houses. He can also travel and give lectures at forums and universities, also give interviews and participate in numerous podcasts, giving him a very, very healthy income for the rest of his life…OR… He could decide to hook up with his old WikiLeaks buddies and continue to find whistleblowers, informants and people that are ready to hand him classified documents to be released on his platform… What path do you think Julian Assange will choose?
