  • After much frustration the vibration noise was still there so I had to try a few different methods to stop a very silly noise. I think I finally got there.

I had the same problem yesterday and I solved it by putting a rubber band between the plastic and the headlight. Saludos! 🇨🇱

Yea the only thing that worked was a lastic band that goes around the wind shield brackets and goes over the cover and it works. I wish there was a better solution but it is what it is. Thanks for watching.

Mmm so you just took some rubber and pushed it between the plastic and headlight?

@@bozno123 I made a modification and put a "V" rubber on the plastic. I'll try to send you a photo by DM.

Try an old inner tube to make a gasket you could even double it up in thickness.

Check the plastic on the top of the headlight

Hi, I have the same issue as well and the string looks like the only fix yet, unfortunately.
Did you managed to connect your phone to it using the QR code displayed in the menu?

Hi Robert, yes the only thing that works with that vibration noise is the elastic cord I placed across the screen mounts. i did end up connecting the phone but there is no real advantage to using the app. I just use my phone separately for navigation etc. Thanks for watching , God bless.

This happens because the poor material, because it is not strong enough and because it is too long. I gues hanging something to add aome weight at the top of the item (i am thinking at a small neodimium magnet on both sides) it will prevent the vibration. I will try this as soon i get mine

It is a cheap design however I tried everything and nothing really fixed it. The only thing that works 100% is the elastic which I have looped around the screen support arms and then I put it over the screen to give tension on it. !00% vibration gone. Funny thing is when you loosen the screws the vibration stops but I don' want to lose the screws. Anyway thanks for watching.

Very annoying problem indeed, like the bike very much but the sound when not driving from it is so annoying. But i think the sound is more coming from the plastic what is above the headlight then this little plastic part.

Yes it drove me mad at first, I tried everything short of throwing it out. The final thing that works is an elastic cord from the hardware store. I tied it across the screen supports and it duns over the plastic bit enough to silence it.
      Thanks for watching.

@@motorbright Its just ridiculous they dont have a solution from the factory already for it. Or we have just bad luck with this problem :D. I was the first one that came with the vibration at the dealer where i bought it. They had no clue.

@@bozno123 yea what a pain, all the new bikes have no cover at all. Apart from an elastic and removing the thing all together we have to live with this one.

@@motorbright But the problem itself is not the cover what is sticking out above the display. I removed the cover and it was still vibrating. That part is just holding the platic part above the headlight tight. The plastic part above the headlight is the one that makes the vibration noise.

@@bozno123Yes there is vibration to a lesser degree but that may not be a major issue. I am curious to see if the other models have any issues like that but at the moment the thick elastic I have across the fairing brackets is keeping everything quiet. It may even be absorbing any vibrations but I don't think anything can be done unless you pull everything apart and check everything. I get your point but it seems everyone else has encountered this to some degree. But thanks for your comments, lets see if anyone else has more info.
