Good to see you back Ringo! Those Romans look amazing, they look like they will be fun to paint up
I started to paint them up, but the only brushes I could find were my Series 7 set, not ideal for such small figures, so I have ordered som Cotman 111's. Series 7 bristles are too soft as there is not enough surface area get the paint flowing, I usually use the synthetic brushes for less than 15mm, so I will have to wait for the Cotmans to arrive
Love to see these when they are painted .
Nice models…looking forward to these.
Yup they are, starting with the legionaries, well one base worth, then have a go at the cav .. going to get some more units ordered in the next week, maybe artillary and skirmishers
I just clicked on the video without looking at the details…and then I heard that long lost voice! Glad to see you posting! Welcome home :) Let’s see them painted, now :)
Haa haa, it's good to hear from you. Painting is planned, I had started but only had my Series 7s handy, these are not ideal for small minis, so on hold till I get some Cotman 111s delivered
Is crazy small,detailed and beautiful.❤❤❤
This brand is from England?
Thanks Ringo!
Great Looking minis can’t wait to see them all painted up
Yup, I hope I am not too rusty! But they are simple to paint for tabletop use
I totally agree...they are stunning 😍
Cheers Nick
They certainly are very impressive sculpts, looking forward to seeing how you paint them up.
I am hoping to get them well underway in the next week, back to work for 4 days, then we can blast through them .. well thats the plan :)
Superb looking miniatures.I am amazed how good 3d printed figures are. These are also excellent looking for such a small scale. The supports could be clipped off with nail clippers i am shure.Look forward to seeing them painted they should look very good.Nice to see you making videos again.🐻🤗👍
It is good to be doing vids again been too long. Still a bit cramped but we will soldier on. The supports just clip off, really easily, no mess, no burrs or artifacts left afterwards, really clean prints. Very happy with them
They look amazing Ringo.
They are very good indeed, best of all no mould lines or flashing!
Look forward to seeing a paint-through video (if you post one). Long time no see - good to have you back.
I think I will do a video on 10mm painting for gaming, people get so put off by smaller scales, when in fact they are very easy to do .. just blob it on!
Ringo any chance you could compare them to Pendraken or Steve Barber 10mm minis so we could get a better idea of size.
Nice
Cheers, looking forward to seeing them painted and based
How wide are the strips? Hopefully they fit on a 4cm DBX base. I have not had such good service from the Plastic Soldier Company. Ordered one box of 15mm foot and have been waiting two weeks, though there are supposedly plenty in stock.
I just measured one, it was just under 4cm. On some of the strips it is possible to separate the figures individually as the 3D printing does not join then together like injection moulded or cast strips do. HTH
Not my scale but they look superb, impressive sculpts!
They are lovely looking, although I am not doing them justice with my painting of them, I am a bit rusty!
They certainly look nice... not sure if I'd like the material.
It's just resin, it's very smooth and clean. You'd not know the difference from hard plstic apart from there being no mould lines, which makes a big difference at 10mm
