If it's too small, you won't feel like you are making much progress. If it's too big, you will be afraid seeing a big loss if it goes against you, even if it's small relative to your account and daily limit.
I would say that if you trade with 25k, trade as if you had 10-15k position wise. If you have 50k, trade as if you had 25k. That way, you will survive drawdowns. You will have more of a buffer during bad weeks and will be able to scale up without going too far. And there will be bad weeks even for the best trader out there.

It doesn't matter the amount, focus on % is better then account size, if you risk 2% on 10k is the same 2% you have risk on 200k 🤷
