Thank you for posting so much beautiful footage. Man; I was f'ing devastated when Stuart died (ah, who am I kidding? It still upsets me now); I don't think I've ever been so attracted to a pop star in my life. I used to dream of marrying him in the 80's, ha, though he was a good dozen or so years older than I. *sigh* Why didn't anyone get him the help he needed? The universe suffers so without him. *sniffle* Thanks again for the memories. :-)
The Riff for Fields of |Fire, belts out and I am seventeen again, I miss those days , I wish I could go back there now, RIP Bigman I hope you found what you where looking for.
Thanks to the poster. Big Country is my favorite band of all time. These guys epotimize rock. Brilliant lyrics, awesome melodies, and virtuoso chops are on each of their albums. Check out "The Crossing" on the re-release of The Crossing...these guys do a serious jam!
i thought that pain and truth were things that really mattered , but you cant stay here when every single hope you have shatters. RIP......................
First band to play at the Russian Embassy in Tallinn in 88 I recorded it from radio 1 on cassette from "Peace in our time" period .Brilliant people, musicians .Still can't believe Stuart isn't around but the music will always be around
God bless you Stuart.. I remember hearing fields of fire when I was about 8 and thinking Thank God..I found the music the music I love.. all the other kids were listening to Spanaud ballet and madonna.. next I discovered Joy Division .. The Clash etc.. RIP Stuart you are missed!!
Wow, Brilliant Band and Musicians - Going in the right direction but not getting there for some reason or other! So sad but we have some stuff from them!

So prophetic when he talks about the problems of alcohol abuse. Sigh...
We love you, Stuart. God keep you.
Still can't believe he is gone. Looks like yesterday.
Stuart was such a dream boat, he had real style in both music and presence...effortlessly cool is how I'd describe it.
Very intelligent, dear Stuart Adamson. A great musical hero.

A poet and one of the finest song writers? Sad! William William!
Big Country in a small country...
Stuart was so talented. Scary reminder that anyone can fall into disrepair...
hehe... how weird is it when 20 years seems like just yesterday!? :-)
BC1000stars True enough
And another 12 years still seems like being young yesterday.

@Worrier316 Forgive me if this isn't your bag, but see John 5:28. I'm looking forward to having a natter with him. :-)
@BC1000stars So correct!
This guy had chops. Artistically, perhaps politically also. Very sad loss.
Brilliant - I loved it when the interviewer gave up trying to bring Mark into it! Great stuff from Stuart.
