I don't get why low budget deveopers think having constant repetitive dialogue in their game is a smart idea. In that city segment alone there were *EIGHT* fucking repititions of "POLICE, CALL THE POLICE".
the problem with low budget developers is just that.. "low budget"... it's better to have repetition and make the world feel somewhat alive and sacrifice a bit of immersion, rather than have no dialogue at all and make the world feel dead... but I do agree, it's really repetitive, and I feel as though they should at least have separate versions of the same dialogue, like the elder scroll series.

There's no better way to kill the intrigue and excitement for your game, than releasing it a quarter finished. nah watch dishonored speedrun, its not so easy broken like it seems, most of ppl wouldnt do that, and if thay would thay would feel bad about it and load to go with the story

Simple; many games has multiple speedrun categories such as "Any%" and "All bosses". Others has different categories for glitches and without glitches. This would simply be a Alpha v28047-category run, albeit they could give it a better name. But ya, this wouldn't interfere with a full game VR.
Definitely my favourite game. Say what you want, but the vibes and story had me enjoy it so much. I wish I could replay it and have the same experience the first time. I remember seeing it in 2016 I think, on like an early access or beta trial thing for Xbox. After playing it I forgot all about it and for some reason I remembered it in 2020. I'm glad I did

My favorite part about this run is that it's 100% waiting or waiting with the w key pressed except for the non-developer intended gameplay of jumping the bridge.

Just a stupid question to ask but, If you start a speedrun game and timer continues at the beginning you can see the timer stop at 1 second, shouldn't the timer continue even if you quit the game? Idk I'm not that smart
I don't get it, did the loading screens count ?? Cause near the end the time was still active during last few loading screens. But in beginning it didn't?
Just a question. Most speedruns i see the clock are always counting even in loading scenes. Also at around 4:35 after the loading screen the clock doesnt start till a few msec after?
great run but the very minuscule mess ups could shave like 2 seconds and the time you take to line up bridge jumps could shave off about an extra 4 but all in all GJ
It's funny how u stop the timer everytime u get into a loading screen especially the first one where u skip the intro and then stop the timer at 1 second. do loading times vary so much? Also why don't u do it for the final loading screen?
Yup, just a small part of the story- dude runs through towns, jumps around fences using magnet hands, and paddles away on a boat. If you look very closely, he might have been chased by the PA-LICE at some point.

Does this game not use real-time splits for the run? Noticed the timer only running during player sections.
If the long loading times are a problem, the timers usually just stop on loading, so the in-game time is only thing that counts
