Dude there's ghost notes in there ur missing
Oh no, dude! Seriously though, my lessons focus on the important aspects of a song. If ghost notes are not really adding anything, and making the lesson overly complicated, then I take an executive decision and strip back the unnecessary guff. An advanced drummer will add their own ghost notes. I haven't watched this lesson for a while, so not sure which part you're referring too...or if you're even correct, but they would have been left out for a reason if at all. I always explain my reasons within the full lesson. Rob
Id say the groove he came up with was probably above his skill level at the time and didnt have enough time to practice. The bass drums are in a slightly weird place which confused me at first
You are lacking the feel of the song imo. With that, those sloppy hits you talk about are not sloppy at all. I dont believe Rons timing is all that bad, pretty damn solid really. And homie said it already, ghost notes and ill add your lesson is missing the drum parts overall dynamics.
