One thing I'm not to sure about is Sniper Positions gives you Silent when within control range of heavy but the tops of the those building and the vantage they're on is Light. Page 46 of the rulebook states that to be within control range must be within an inch AND be visible, nothing Heavy where those Ratlings were positioned is visible. Great to see both these new killteams in action either way!
Cool game. I’m a confused at 32mins. When you were throwing grenades into the obscured smoke why weren’t you discarding one dice? I may have missed why
My choice was, as usual, to magnetise options and that includes the rokkit/hammer Wreckas. It is pretty easy and will also make your team immune to balance/edition changes in the future, if they mean one loadout is more preferable than it is now.
Just fyi Shifty (super conceal) doesn’t require any heavy cover. Sniper positions (silent stationary shots) does. Seems like you mixed them up a few times.
@@CanYouRollaCrit but it is visible or not? Cause in the rules is stated its only not shootable if it is in cover with a concealorder. So am i doing something wrong? I‘m new to the Game and the rules are sometimes very hard to understand 😅
Still really confused Scarper. It says you can’t do it after consecutive enemy activations, but I saw you Scarpered at 15:09 then you Scarpered the dog and then the Comms. Maybe I’m just confused or you can explain 😅
as squigs exploding counts as a shoot action doesn't that mean if you fight on the other side of the door you'll never be hit by the blast as you won't have visibility?
But blast does require visibility, doesn't it? And the doors allow visibility only for control range, right? So if you are on the other side of the door you can fight but not shoot.. or am I missing something? 😅
Does the player, who doesn't have initiative in the first TP really already get 2 CP? It reads differently in the rulebook and I couldn't find anything different in the Crit/Approved Ops pack.
@18:20 By "booping" i assume you mean the compile intel action? how was it free? or am i misunderstanding something? i was thinking maybe it was the stashmaster and you meant that the pick up action was free?
Am I the only one who wants more battle reports? Some meta ones would be awesome too❤
I'll try if I have more time 😅
Great game! 25:31 As I just learned this in a game today, the demolisha wouldn't get the extra APL because you can only get it if you're on engage.

Yeah, got it wrong
@@CanYouRollaCrit Aw gotcha
Great game! Really fun to see both teams in action.
Ah thanks, glad you liked it!
Cool game. I’m a confused at 32mins. When you were throwing grenades into the obscured smoke why weren’t you discarding one dice? I may have missed why
Ah I moved to be within 2 inches to negate the smoke (:
@@CanYouRollaCritgot it! Thank you
Silly question, but still - shouldn't ratling on 42:36 see the point to do the action? Given that they are awfully short, this might be hillarious :)
Stronghold rules override as they allow you to ignore visibility for control range, under terrain (:
@@CanYouRollaCrit oh, you're absolutely right, thanks
At 11:13 how do you go from 1 to 4 cp? Obviously +2 for not having initiative, but where does the other +1 comes from?
I was at 2CP TP1 (3-1) then went second TP2 for 2 more CP (:
@@CanYouRollaCritAh yes - I saw you accidentally knocked over your CP dice!
Im still not sure how build orks. Should I skip basic rocket guy and pick second hammer guy? Im building it now so any help will be great :D
I like basic rokkit guy but some people prefer more hammers
My choice was, as usual, to magnetise options and that includes the rokkit/hammer Wreckas. It is pretty easy and will also make your team immune to balance/edition changes in the future, if they mean one loadout is more preferable than it is now.
Just build the 11 boy with the eavy rokkit launcha and one handed smash hammer. Easy peasy, now you have both 😌
Just fyi Shifty (super conceal) doesn’t require any heavy cover. Sniper positions (silent stationary shots) does. Seems like you mixed them up a few times.
Yeah only at first (:
Merry Critmas!
Merry Christmas to you too!
Can't scarper within 3" of an enemy operative at 32:00
Ah true, my bad 😅
does it a couple of times in this game, I think - new team great video for learning the rules!
Why you couldn‘t shoot the rocket boy you gave the spot symbol in second tp, first turning point?
Cause it was concealed
@@CanYouRollaCrit but it is visible or not?
Cause in the rules is stated its only not shootable if it is in cover with a concealorder.
So am i doing something wrong?
I‘m new to the Game and the rules are sometimes very hard to understand 😅
@goduntouchablegoduntouchab3976 the operative had a conceal order behind heavy cover so I could not shoot them
@@CanYouRollaCritcause it is in Control range?
Thanks for clarifying
The Ork operative had heavy cover in its control range with a conceal order
Still really confused Scarper. It says you can’t do it after consecutive enemy activations, but I saw you Scarpered at 15:09 then you Scarpered the dog and then the Comms. Maybe I’m just confused or you can explain 😅
Oh I think I forgot to edit out that I didn't do the scarper with the spotter
How many silent ratlings do you think you could fit on the tower?
Which one? Volkus top level? Probably 2
as squigs exploding counts as a shoot action doesn't that mean if you fight on the other side of the door you'll never be hit by the blast as you won't have visibility?
Doors on volkus strongholds allow visibility for control range (:
No as the Squig is the primary target, so then blast kicks in for the other targets.
But blast does require visibility, doesn't it? And the doors allow visibility only for control range, right?
So if you are on the other side of the door you can fight but not shoot.. or am I missing something? 😅
@@Mangix_the_Bear squish also has a shoot in control range rule
@@hugepiemanyes, but that says it can perform a shoot action while in control range, it does not say it shoots everyone within it's control range
Do you get the bonus CP going second in the first turning point? I thought it was 1 and 1 no matter what?
he has less CP because of equipment.
Yeah my equipment gave me -1 CP 😭
Why fight first with your bullgryn against the ork with the detonate hammer?
It's a stronghold rule for volkus. If someone outside the stronghold fights one inside, the one inside gets to fight first
Yeah while inside Strongholds you resolve first
30:15 the dog only has 4 wounds
Ah yeah got it mixed up with movement
Does the player, who doesn't have initiative in the first TP really already get 2 CP? It reads differently in the rulebook and I couldn't find anything different in the Crit/Approved Ops pack.
Both players start on 2cp during deployment, then both get +1 CP at start of TP1. It's in Approved Ops rules (:
Snipers positions in the Large Ruins vantage is a legal thing? RAW, those ramparts are light cover, or im crazy?
The ramparts are light but the wall underneath the ramparts are heavy so it works
@@CanYouRollaCrit Would the walls be in control range if they can't see them? Fairly certain you need LoS to be in control range of something no?
@wolfie882 oh damn, yeah I forgot it has to be visible 😅😅😅
@18:20 By "booping" i assume you mean the compile intel action? how was it free? or am i misunderstanding something? i was thinking maybe it was the stashmaster and you meant that the pick up action was free?
Stash Master can do mission actions for 1AP less
Any chance for a video on life hacks for playing the game for the 3rd edition?
What kind of life hacks? :o
@CanYouRollaCrit maybe stuff that pro/competitive players do that can benefit casuals. Not super deep stuff.
4:10, Bomb Squig deploys in a conceal. Upon activation it is in Engage. So even if you had visibility, it would not apply
What would not apply? Yeah they all deployed on conceal so are safe
Will you ever show a painting tutorial?
For what? :o
