    15:30 You can't use monuments that require dharmic religion as confucian, because you need "Syncretic religion" but not "Harmonized religion".
    If you are playing with tengri religion you can pick a syncretic religion 15:31 then it works. As confusian you are harmonizing religions so it needs key word "harmonized" 15:24.

    Corrections list: Thank you for keeping me accountable!
    - Mughals DO Require you to be Muslim to be formed, I read it wrong. You can thankfully switch in then back out of the religion for this.
    - at 14:20 I count the same monument twice. Not intentionally, I just had multiple takes for a lot of the video, and while editing I accidently left both in.
    - Confusion Harmonization of Hinduism does NOT provide access to the Dharmic Monuments. This is pretty major, but it does mean that the optimal religion becomes Shia, and overall you actually end up with only 3 monuments less then in the original run. A pretty major mistake on my part, which is ironic, given that I did test it, but it just goes to show always better to test more then less.
    - Mughal Cultural Assimilation just doesn't work with new world cultures. Rip those Great Projects :(

      Note that the Moai in Easter Island requires Polynesian *in the province* to upgrade, and your *colonist will wipe the culture upon forming the colony* if you're not Polynesian yourself. It's also too remote to culture convert the province back to Polynesian.
      Your least resource intensive way to utilize Moai is to move your capital to a Polynesian province like Taiwan or Hawaii, and then drag the monument there. With enough ccr you can actually ignore overextension this way, since you will never be overextended long enough for rebels to actually fire. Tolerance to all three is NOT the same as national unrest. For one, several disasters (namely Court & Country) check Unrest, not Tolerance. For two, as you said, there's the cap of +4 for non-true faith. For three, as you said, there's the penalties on a province for negative tolerance. Four, there's the religious defection events if you have +2 or higher tolerance. Basically, the difference really matters for triggering some "fun" things.
    It's still absolutely not worth pursuing outside of very specific cases, same as national unrest. Well, maybe if you're feeling lazy while also abusing your nation so hard you're collecting unrest.

    • @LemonCake101
      @LemonCake101  9 місяців тому

      So... you are correct. It is 'better' but my main point of argument is that any universe I am going for Tolerance of Heretics/Heathens I am going for Humanist and stuff like that too, so I am going to be having 'hitting the cap' issues, and even then, the monument can't exactly replace humanist for the price point; and as we both agree... it just isn't worth pursuing unless you are stacking a specific modifier as it where.

    To form the Mughals, you do need to be muslim in 1.35. You also can't harmonize with dharmic monuments. As there are plenty of muslim only monuments, shia is the religion that will give you the most accesable monuments.

    I tried this on console commands and the Mugals do not assimilate Native American cultures readily.
    The only way for the Mughals to "assimilate" a native culture is to have only one province with that culture and be bankrupt.

    • @LemonCake101
      @LemonCake101  9 місяців тому

      you do need to own all the native American provinces, which also includes the uncolonized ones. This is actually rather annoying for India, as there is an island with Indian culture that you need to colonize or have someone like Spain colonize since without it you can't accept the culture.
