I bought the megawatt charger adapter for my Tesla. I can now charge it in 7 seconds zero to full. But only once.

I can’t wait to see electric semis where they make sense on smaller shorter trips combined with even larger renewable energy sources. It’s finally starting to happen and will be great to see it in full swing. Probably take at least 10 more years to get going, but seeing the interest from 3rd party vendors like this is hopeful.

Lay off the drugs.. you'd need an acre of solar per megawatt of output that could on average supply 4 - 5 hours of rated name plate capacity.

@@RP-hn1qc well, I’m not on drugs, but wow ok. I literally mentioned more renewable energy sources, like, larger wind, solar, geothermal and hydro, wave/ocean plants to generate cleaner electricity to eventually charge the trucks. That’s literally already happening and increasing every year. Maybe you yourself should refrain from drug use since you seem to be unaware of what’s currently going on around you.

World leader? Today? How many installed spaces they have? How much energy they delivery, already, this year? How reliable?

What did ABB have to show. I keep hearing that they are a big name in charges.

I can already see the comments going. Anti EV stuff. It's actually more efficient to burn fossil fuels in power plants than in our cars.
Think of all the energy a typical engine wastes. Mostly thermal energy gets dumped into the atmosphere through the cooling system. However in a power plant, that gasoline or diesel could power a gigantic engine that could feed a great number of power turbines.
Even farther, the thermal energy could be funneled into a heat exchanger and used to boil water to generate steam witch would generate more electricity.
Its the reason container ships are so efficient. They can use all the energy of the fuel, not just the mechanical energy like our cars do.
