We need a Kempower site here in Lake Charles. Halfway between Baton Rouge and Houston along I-10 and a popular stop for Texans coming over the border for gambling and an industrial powerhouse in its own right.

Great to see their desire to lead in the Megawatt charging that will ramp very soon considering all the buzz in heavy transportation sector going EV!
I'm looking forward to a Kempower charger in my hometown here in Minnesota this Summer!!...My utility company (Minnesota Power) will be setting up a Kempower charger in collaboration with Zeff Energy and a local business...It will be 50 kw scalable to 150 kw and it will have both J3400 and J1772 handles. This will be our first DC Fast Charger as we are a smaller town (with a lot of through traffic)... Definitely sounds good for the future.
Sorry but DOA, why even bother to build the infrastructure if they can't sell the required amount of energy to the customers. At least 150 kW is the new "worst" only benefit is session time and utilisation time is up. But the kW per day will be lousy
@@Harrythehun I go to meetings that the power company holds to give info on what is happening...I tried to convince them that more power would be better but they are limited economically. Minnesota (Zeff Energy) has a very nice infrastructure of 50kW chargers that was created using VW Diesel Gate money... You can get to just about anywhere. They have served the state well but bigger would be better, I agree. Right now people can get to my town but there is no DC Fast charging available for them to get home....lol..So, we can use a 50kW charger. "Beggars can't be Choosers"
saw the new ABB charger (new to me anyway) as well with the MCS style handle, they were hard to miss being right at the entrance of the show floor.
