    Love how creative this is but also love how you explain what you're doing. I never would have imagined these things. I'm binge watching your videos, you are very talented.

    This is amazing! I am terrible at building and being able to watch a very slow tutorial that explains everything so clearly is just perfect. I look forward to your next tutorial. 🙂

    I don’t own Sims. I don’t play Sims. I have no idea what’s happening and yet I keep watching week after week after week. God, you’re amazing!

    I’m happy to have found your channel! I love finding other builders who think entirely out of the box and off-the-grid! Yours are especially creative, with a flair for interior design. Exceptionally well-done, with clarity.
    Happy New Year’s! Cheers 🥂 to a wonderful year for you and your channel!
    I really hope EA releases kits that can be used for building, consisting of objects in simple shapes, in different styles with tons of swatches, including clear, and to match floor swatches, as well - (if they can be painted with wall or flooring swatches that would be amazing, but I’m not even so demanding as that). They would be so wonderful for just creating whatever objects you like or can imagine!

      Hi Reagan, you have seriously just made my day with your lovely comment! Thank you so much for taking the time to leave me your message ❤️ I am dreaming of the same thing as you in regards to the kits. That would be a dream come true.
      Have a beautiful New Years and happy holidays! 🤗🎉

    Thank you so much. I have seen this done many times but no one explained clearly enough for me to understand. Thank you again for taking the time to help me enhance my sims game.

      Thank you! I have taken a little bit of a break recently due to some burnout, but I have another video planned which I will record this weekend and it will be a tutorial! :)

    Thanks for this tutorial, I did not know how to do this, but you have explained it super well and slowly. Although we need more modern kitchen objects in the game, we don't even have a ceramic hob and more clutter! Clutter is always necessary 😁 Have a good week 😘

    In Fallout 76 they call it merging. I like mashing better. Sounds funny. 😀 This tutorial format is very good. Subbed.

    Loved this, so informative. I have been playing since I was 10 (now 28) and I feel like such a n00b! I didn't know how to make the cabinets bigger and smaller and have often wondered how on earth that was done. I didn't know about Alt + 9/0 or even Alt + [ / ] .. I am really getting excited about trying some builds now! thanks so much! (p.s think I might be your biggest fan :D )
    Also, extra note - the hood fan we call an extractor fan in England :)

I actually have another very long and in depth tutorial being posted today or tomorrow - its on landscaping and I take you through the entire process of building a park :) I have a few more tutorials lined up for bathrooms after that one but then I will absolutely do some bedroom and closet ones for you!

    YT question! How to you plan your content for your series?

    • @Brownflower
      @Brownflower  2 роки тому +1

      Hi Chrissy, thank you for your question! For speed build content there isn't much planning - I just create whatever I feel like at that moment. For tutorial content, it is very different as I need to ensure I am being slow and deliberate enough to give people value. These videos take considerably longer - I first build out the content off-camera until I am satisfied, then rebuild it on camera from scratch. If I am doing multiple tutorials that will stitch together (like this video here) it takes longer again as I need to make sure I am creating something cohesive across all videos in this series. I always make sure I am listening to people's feedback, and I try to explore lots of different styles to suit people's different tastes. Hope this helps!

    Are the objects functional once you flip them? I mean, can the sims use the turned cabinets and the fridge? By the way I love this trick

    • @Brownflower
      @Brownflower  3 роки тому +1

      Hi there! Yes benchtops/cabinets are accessible from both angles, and the fridge is also. Just be sure not to block too much of the fridge as you may have a little bit of trouble.

    Literally everything you do I do too. With the cheats and everything. And it still doesn't work for me. The kitchen cabinets do not stay rotated. It happens to me every time I try to follow a video of someone explaining how to build in The Sims. This is so annoying the sims hate me😭

    How do u turn things around?

    • @Brownflower
      @Brownflower  3 роки тому

      By using the < and > keys on your keyboard, or holding down the click on your mouse, and rotating your mouse side to side - If you do this while holding the ALT key, you will be able to rotate your object with full 360 degree rotation :)
