Wooooarrrr! Nice find man! Some cool features down there, the blue and greens are minerals relating to copper, I see them a lot in the mines down here in Cornwall. Watch out for them flooded shafts on the sides of the tunnels, usually a false wooden floor goes across the other side of them, often hidden under the rocks and dirt that have fallen over the years, be aware they could just give way sending you down hundreds of feet :( Always good to have someone with you inside the mine, just incase something did happen. Great footage of the explore, I expect you can google more info on the workings on the surface too, I expect it was someones project to reopen the mine or dig out further sections. So, we going to see more mine explores in the near future? :) Keep up the good work!
Cornish Mine Explorer ha ha 😀 thanks man, awesome comment! I was pretty scared on my own and definitely not brave enough to take any risks. I was sure the second shaft I got to had a false floor, I wasn't too happy about that bit. I would like to go back with some waders and explore the other tunnel👌 If I can find others that are safe enough I will definitely explore them, in my area it was all coal mines and very dangerous 😨 thanks again mate I really appreciate it 🖒
😳 EPIC 😁👍 that has to be my favourite videos of yours so far! Well done! That flooded shaft makes me want to learn how to scuba 😂 absolutely great find. And located in such a nice place. Now I know what you where talking about on Instagram, "deep shaft" 😆👍 quality!
Sub Exploration ha ha I told you you would piss yourself 😂😂😂 it was my favourite too, scary but awesome. I've had a go with the tanks, it's amazing but never proper diving. I was thinking exactly the same when I looked in there, the water was so clear 🖒😀😀😀
I was watching a show about mines in Death Valley on Netflix. Apparently somewhere there is a tunnel that goes on for miles, and leads to this area where there supposedly Gold just all over the place. Anyway, there were three exploring the mine, and there was nobody talking and it was being recorded. On the recording when played back there is a noise....they had a device that played back slowly what the noise was and there was a voice before the noise that said, “Watch Out”. It was kind of spooky. Loved the video, thanks.
Excellent, wow I recently watched an 80’s film where there were alien things in mines. Nasty buggers. Brave for going down there on your own. Well done
Green = Copper Rusty Red= Iron Yellow/Orange= Sulfides White= Calcite,Quarts there are alot of things in mines that are white some good some bad. Might wanna take an air meter with you in the mines you go into.... Never know, it could save your arse!! Keep up the vids for the ones that have roots in the area but probably never get the chance to see in person! Thanks for what you do!!
Do you have the coordinates for this? I want to check it out. Disclaimer, I am a climber and have done a bit of caving before so as far as safety goes I'm happy with the risks
You definitely shafted this 😂 see what you mean it's scary in there on your own I wouldn't of lasted 5 min, love near the end lifting absolutely everything in sight haha the bridge was good. Top video my friend.
You never go down any mines alone, espcially when you have no knowledge of what you're doing & you have no knowledge whatsoever! It's just stupid & dangerous & if something happened other would have to put their lifes at risk to get you out!
The Romans ran off with most of it but there were mines in more recent time like Vigra Mine, Bontddu, Gwynfynydd, Dolgellaum, Clogau to name but a few all around the Dolgellau Gold Belt. The last the Gwynfynydd mine closed in 1999 as it was worked out. Large deposits have since been found in Ireland making any remaining Welsh gold uneconomic.
BattlePro Gamers there's a possibility that this mine will be reopened as it's said to be some of the finest gold in the world 😀 thanks for watching 😊👍
tracy connah I'm sorry I don't reveal my locations publicly 😞 and I wouldn't recommend exploring this one anyway, it's extremely dangerous 🤤 thanks for watching and commenting though, much appreciated 😁👍
"Defiantly Don't try that at home" .. But IF you do not' be a twit like me and enter without proper lighting or boots and have to go back and retrieve them ...also Don't bring a hardhat or helmet and make sure you wear sunglasses because U have to look cool on camera
Wow you were braver than us in that mine, we must have been there just a few weeks after you but we didn't go that far into that one (mainly cus we couldn't see anything) but there is another entrance a bit of a walk up the hill which we did go in. video is here ua-cam.com/video/px05LM-AYcU/v-deo.html skip to 1:25 to get to the mine bit.
You said there was coal mines near where you live in dudley but I can't find any info for them don't worry I know coal mines are dangerous and I'm not going to visit them
I Macey The dog has been on some epic adventures with us but unfortunately he had to bow wow out of this one 😂 I love the gopro but the way it picks up the vibration drives me nuts, I'm gonna cut down the mount and glue some rubber in there see if that fixes it 🤔 thanks dude 😆
upalevel productions funnimy enough it was much the same then but more signs of working and we had a key as that door was still locked. I was a founder member of a now defunct organisation called MRBA mines research in the Bristol Area and we knew the butcher in Dolgelau who was also an ardent caver we took him down swildons and a few other local caves and old lead shafts and in return he took us to some amazing old mines Gold as well as slate some of the slate mines were Huge and still had relics of the heyday wooden carts clothing still on pegs and boots in racks shame we didnt have mobile pho es or action cams back then, keep up the good work 👍
Dave Woods That's great 😉 I love exploring caves and especially these mines, it's amazing to imagine what they would be like to work in when they were in their prime. I have a huge silver, zinc and lead mine video coming up soon 👍 are you on Facebook or instagram? If could send me some locations of caves and mines I would very much appreciated it👍 in private of course, I don't like to reveal the locations because they are so dangerous
upalevel productions well to be honest most of the mines we visited are now well known so there would be no suprises and as for the caves they are all available in the mendip mines register www.mcra.org.uk/registry/ And all are well caved I doubt if there are any hidden gems left But if I hear of anything ill be sure to let ypu know 👍
@@upalevelproductions hello mate be interested in chatting with you I'm from Telford, and would be very interested in doing some caving/mine exploring myself happy to provide transport etc. Hit me up for a chat if you wish, or any organisation you know of. Great video
Murphy What's that mean? 😂 you mean the camera movement, I was holding the gimbal in one hand and the light in the other while trying not to fall down deep shafts 😂 thanks for watching 👍
If it's dangerous going down mines and you're telling bus not to do it why are you going down mines? I 'live' in North Wales I've been down loads of mines and you're right it is instant death, I died instantly the first mine I ever went down. I suppose you're wondering how I've visited all the other mines, supernatural effort that's how. Also the old timber propping the thing up is not. They put timbers like that as a crude device to check for movement/subsidence in the adits.

Amanda Lyons I will take a metal detector next time, they've found big nuggets in this one 😃👍
upalevel productions cool 😁
Man I miss living in Wales! I used to live in Betws-y-coyed, some huge mines and shafts around there.

If this is the mine I think it is, then its likely to get reopened in the next two years
Fantastic work again! Paul in Lower Boddington

Clogau Gold is it?
yes
Shame these mines only get shut down when they don't produce 100 ounces a week, theirs still a whole lot of gold in them hills.
BattlePro Gamers there's a possibility that this mine will be reopened as it's said to be some of the finest gold in the world 😀 thanks for watching 😊👍
No problem, upalevel productions. I'm going prospecting soon, at the north pennies, (sluice box and panning) so doing as much research as i can.
How far in was the beginning of the gold seam?
I think there's quite a few veins running in different directions, there's still gold here and there's talk of it reopening. Thanks for watching 😊
