Seems a different order of dis/re-assembly might reduce the number or required hands. -remove brake caliper -remove tie rod -remove axle/wheel -remove steerer tube -remove spindle -reverse for re-assembly and check the brakes then reset the toe alignment.
Really want to thank you folks at Utah Trikes for your videos. I was not happy with the shoddy assembly of my Catrikes by the dealer I purchased them from. With your videos and those of Park Tools, I'm enjoying our trikes more.
The way you put it back together should of been the way you puled it apart. Start wheel off brake caliper tie rod then everything else on top but thats hindsight and making vids as tutorials is hard so well done!!
Why cant the ring be replaced? It was pressed on the old can be cut and the new it pressed on. Besides why is it aluminum? crs at the very least. hard bearing. I have a new expedition. over 2500.00 really the alu. will take a beating all force is on it....

Thanks do much for this video. I wouldn't have been able to change my own spindles without it!

Matt comb your hair!
I own a Catrike Speed. Is this necessary after a certain age or mileage as part of a maintenance schedule?
Thanks SO MUCH, this really helps❗️
