This is still advertised with Martin Lewis & good morning and with Jeremy clarkson. I was interested but very aware that it could be a scam. You guys need to put it straight.
It's shocking the ways people can be scammed. I work in banking and one of my colleagues had a customer who had some building work being done. A complete stranger in a van came up to the customer who is an elderly woman, and said she needed to pay him for the building work and she said she had no cash so he said he would take her to a cash point. She then got into this stranger's van and withdrew money for him. Thankfully he dropped her back home and nothing else happened. Please look out for your elderly family members.
Something similar happened to an elderly cousin of mine. Workmen gave her a price for clearing part of her garden, then said it would be more. She went to the bank and mentioned why she needed the money and the lady at the counter phoned the police straight away. The men were caught and taken to court.
My son got scammed . Even though i told him not to. Lucky our bank stopped him giving more money. But he lost £1000 . And these people promise you big money but they lie.
I was a victim of a scam once, I was just lucky that it wasn't anything as severe as this, but I learned a highly important lesson over it: There's no such thing as a free lunch....
Because it was dodgy ,she knew deep down that it was dodgy, but she wanted to risk it for potentially having more money , greed is literally one of the biggest reason people get scam
