    I have (I think) the same lock and tool. However, I could not tension it with the tool, because it was just 1mm short. I put a solder blob on top of it and filed it straight, now it works like a charm. Just a cheap tip for anyone having the same issue.

    Nice picking mate. The stump has not got v shape running down the stump like a real safe lock to catch the false gates. If it had that. Its much harder to pick. Anyways great vid as always.

    • @LockNoob
      @LockNoob  7 років тому +4

      APACHE-LOCKSPORT actually, it does if you look at the review video you can see it has a W shape stump that catches the false gates extremely efficiently. Poor bitting and light tension helped here :-)

    Nice picking bud! I really enjoyed watching this video. I think I might get a lever lock and some picks because I am interested in learning how to pick them. It's definitely something that I would like to know how to do. Keep on picking!

    The fence and false gates look so blunt. I wonder if they were squared up so that the fence actually locks into the false gates if it could be picked or if the key would hang up. Good job opening. Now if only Banggood gets the locks and picks in stock I would like to give it a try. Thank you for the great videos.

    Hi, I have an issue with Lowe&Fletcher safe lock. Lock was in regular operation, recently after trying to open it the key didn't open the lock, it moves freely engaging part of the mechanism (you can hear some levers being engaged, but the key doesn't move to the full horizontal position when trying to move it to closed position and moves slightly too far right when moving to open position. I can see the top level blocking the key hole, it's stuck and doesn't respond to a slight force applied.
    So basically the key is stuck in the key hole and cannot be removed but in a way moves freely. Any suggestions on how to approach this?

    These are the standard door lock in my country. Never heard of anyone picking them. Burglars just destroy the door instead.

    It may have already been mentioned but holding the lock in that position pretty much negates the ability of the levers to move or flop around as each lever is picked. Mount the lock in a vertical up or down position and try it.

    Hi what technique do you use to pick the false gates? Remembering the position, releasing tension and trying a different again? Kind regards

    Good video mate, hey wondering if you can help me, i just bought a brand new keyed spika gun safe yesterday , installed it, opened closed and locked it several times with no problem, went to open it this morning and i cant open it , tried both new keys and when fully in and turning clockwise they barely move , i think if i forced it it will just snap the key, any thoughts appreciated
    cheers

    Very nice lever picking Ash :D. I wondered what the cuts on the back of the key are for and when you took off the cover it became clear :). They are just like a warded key, blocking on the levers if it's the wrong key :). Nice to learn that. I also think to remember that the most inner lever is lever one ;). Thank you for sharing :), always nice to see a lever lock.
