I got rekt my first 50 games when first trying the Pike, but now I feel the weapon is quite powerful once mastered. What has your experience been like? What do YOU think about the Pike?

I've got the hang of it myself now it's so good. i use full agility tho because the damage output on ulti+R or E is insane. Yes squishy so be careful Haha. it took me a while to manage my unit at the same time I find best using shock troops like condo's, paladins etc..
i just unlocked the pike and played my first siege game with it. got 10 kills and 76 unit kills. i think the pike chose me :o lol. thanks for the guide!
I personally got hooked onto the Pike instantly and found it very comfortable to use. I rarely use games these days and I sometimes personally feel that it might even be a bit unfair. I still enjoy using the Pike greatly though.
I got pike 3 days ago , watch ur vids and remember half of the combo u taught and i got 6 kills 2 minutes into the game, My opinion on it is definitely like an assassin class weapon that has amazing CC control

I have been having lots of luck using Silahdars with the pike. set them to cover commander, ulti into wandering to disperse and knock down troops, then activate decapitate. it has been a thing of beauty

Been playing for 3 days now so pretty new but maxed out the skills I want on spear so was looking for my next weapon. Pike it is 😁 the agility stats should work well with it too
Worth it. Learned about dismounting enemy heroes.
A short addition, i noticed that a fully charged green dragon doesnt give the same CC than a not fully charged one, when fully charged it sends ennemies flying but when it's not fully charged it only knock down ennemies allowing them to get back on their feet by using any skill removing knock down effect.

How do I improve the weapon skills themselves? I am looking on the skill tree and I can see I can improve my skills further yet I don't get the option to. I have not completed the Pike mission tree completely so this may be why but I was hoping I could find out just incase.
What i've learned;
use Wandering dragon instead of dodge; 3rd stage removes knockdown, dodge hitbox sucks and you'll get to keep your stamina to use with 3rd stage water movespeed buff.
combo's; Sky dragon for knockback, 2nd stage wandering dragon for damage boost
3rd stage water dragon for the knockdown and double damage.
OR sky, wandering, green, sky then sky,sky, water.
Specific niche cases where you might want to use water,water, water to close distance or green,water to keep someone pinned on the ground / melee snipe or green wandering to shatter formations or green sky to pin someone down. wandering wandering wandering to get away, sky,sky,sky for units.
In general use Sky dragon for units,
use Wandering dragon stage 4 to shatter formations
Sky dragon stage 4 for choke when using javs or when in a duelling situation.
Attacking from block is a seperate attack that breaks block more effectievly.
Horse heavy attack dismounts enemies, but can only be used on right side, it will send units flying.
Try to weave in basic attacks in between every skill.

Really really good video dude love your editing your announcer voice really brought the video together 🔥my only feedback for you is play styles and stat numbers you briefly highlighted your build and assassin build but didn’t go into much detail on how the pike could be used in these ways. Stats this is a huge one for example I play spear for piercing damage I aim for 1900 and piercing pen 2000 it would of been a good idea to get soft and hard caps for the stats and not just saying I go full armour lol
I get you my friend, glass cannon Pike is also quite viable, but it's a very different playstyle. I was trying to condense the information as much as possible, so sorry I couldn't include a section on that as well (Still ended up being 25+ min). Cheers man!

For Weapon runes I'd recommend both Dragon Usurpation and Bloodlust. With Bloodlust your 3rd q gives your 20% movement speed for 2 seconds, making it an incredible abilitiy to run away or kite.
The third Q from wandering dragon gives you a speed boost on it's own, I don't think that comes from Bloodlust. Bloodlust only triggers from normal dodges.

any tips for completing the pike challenges? for stage 1 challenge for the pike i dont understand what they mean by killing 100 troops with weapon type brace
I believe that is referencing Pike / Polearm units that can brace. Pike Militia for example can Brace their formation in a defensive posture. Of course, this company is known for poor translations and communication errors, so I understand the frustration.

18:28 and THIS is the reason I think pike should be nerfed a bit, and I don't get why they nerfed the hell out of glaive. I had to switch to poleaxe because my damage is basically non-existent.
How do you make that camera view that far distance?
Hey Dhon, in your settings you can increase your camera distance. That, and the scroll wheel can both work depending on your setup.

15.00 how do you enter in this arena training??
So this was during Season 8 when the weapon was first released. On the season 8 challenge page, at (1:40), if you pressed the 'give it a try' button, you'd be taken to that arena to test the pike. I'm guessing that arena has been retired and is no longer accessible in the current season.
Perfect example at how broken Pike is. 3Second cooldown on abilitys that are insane like the Green Dragon doing up to 7K damage to a heavy armored guy. Not even the nodachi ability where you have the Ultimate strike can compare to that. A weapon where you have all in one and your mad that you can easily dodge when you already have an ability that makes you jump like an ape and escape without problems.

All on high, I don't have it on highest as it puts twice the pressure on my system with very little graphical gain.
whats your ingame FPS ?
I only have a 60hz monitor, so the most I could get is 60. But I also play at 1440p so there's a tradeoff there. My fps could drop to 45 during very large battles, but otherwise it'd stay close to 60.
What armor build? 🙄

why would you even do that
man for more dmage use 2 link medium and 2 normal medium? or 2 link light and 2 link medium ? or 2 medium normal and 2 light normal?
Thanks for the Combos they were good. BUT These build and Rune recommodations... Full Armour? U can do what U want yes, but: U want give Tips Here. Full Armour will Not Work... U have 700 armour, U deflect nothing. Yes U dont Scale With health but Take ist anyway. It will give U way more survivability. And then the Thing With the runes: 4%movementspeed is nothing. There are Several Tests on the runes and it makes no difference (its Just an example there are a some more issues. There are all also good ones). So in conclusion: U playing good but this build reduces your Impact strongly. I can post an in my opinion good build in a Few days and then it can be discussed. Sry For the Bad spelling and english
Of course my friend, I always appreciate different playstyles when it comes to weapons! Would love to see your take on the Pike!
So here we go. I will not talk about my pike because I use the same runes u use. I also want to consider that I'm using Conciliation and Breaking Might only as filling runes when I see no better option. Conciliation is more for heavy armour players and Breaking Might more for middle and light because in low and mid tier, 2 points more in armour are no real difference. When I have only 600 Armour, 604 leaves me still vulnerable to all tier 4 units. Conciliation starts to be more useful when u are above 800 armour.
Helm: Testudo, Brithness and Breaking Might. If u want to be more tanky use testudo and Demise. Don't use the heal on supply skill because u waste to mutch time with it.
Armour: Insight and Draco. Insight is the best rune overall because it deletes Dual blade player ults. I chose Draco over Tempering because, as I sayed, health makes u more tanky than armour as a middle and light armour class.
Boots: Avem, Circulation and Breaking Might. 4% movement speed is nothing. Really! It makes no diffence. A good chase depends more on good stamina management. And the rune is also not active on horseback. I personally use apothecary, but only in deathmatches. Elsewhere, this is where I agree, it is not so helpful.
bracers: I also use exacting for the same reason u use it. But instead of Tigris people should go Ease. With ease and circulation u get mathematically better stats than with Avem and Tigris.
Conclusion: I also would recommend to go full agility because I deal so mutch more damage than with full armour! The build gives u enough tankyness to survive as long as u are good friend with wandering dragon. I recommend playing like this for every person who wants to play high ranked or tw. Ur impact is way more stronger than with full armour trust me in this. So that's all, I hope someone tries the build out and gives feedback. Bye

The main damage abilitys with the best scalings (the Ult and the dashing abilty) deal piercing damage and because you have a lot of piercing penetration u only need damage... so it's full agility
