Fair play i get the whole crossfit idea of as much work as possible including cheat reps etc assisted to do more total work..but imo a full rep done properly is a rep, ie dropping down into plank position, pushup, back to plank and then jump up from there back to standing. but whatever Matt and Rich obviously in great shape just think that it gives crossfit a bad name sometimes and people cheat reps to get as many as they can so everyone ends up cheating themselves ultimately.

Like you said, the green plates are 25lb bumpers. The blue plates are 5lb change plates. The bar must weigh 35lbs, because you had to use 95lbs for the workout.
I understand the people who argument Form is first than Reps. But remind that those are burpees in maximum effort, not push ups. Like when you are in competion, form are degraded with hig reps n burpees need the move of the entire body, not only arms.

Why does y'all have to say negative things about CrossFit. If you actually tried this stuff you'd respect it real quick. When ur exhausted and out of breath it takes so much focus and mental strength to.keep ur form and to keep pushing. Just jumping over the bar is a struggle takes focus not to be lazy cuz ur tired. But the one dude doing those terrible pushups is ridiculous tho

I honestly don't get half the people commenting. Everything looks easy once it's on video. They are also doing burpees, for anyone who is getting them confused with pushups. If anyone hating in the comments tried to do this workout, they would have to time cap your ass. Respect what other sports do, even if you don't like it

ya'll need to chill 😂 crossfit likes to focus on functional movement, so the way your body moves. When you pick yourself up off the floor you dont do a push-up, do you? Normally you just bring your legs in towards your torso and pick yourself up from there but that's not the most efficient (or fastest) way to get up. So in crossfit you get to the ground and to get back up you bring both feet in toawrds you with a jump and straighten yourself and continue. I probably didnt explain it as properly as someone who actually does crossfit could've, but thats the general idea from what i gathered from watching other videos

the guy who won cheated really - they aren't burpees - proper burpees like the other 2 were doing are a lot harder to do. Your knees aren't really supposed to touch the ground for a start.
The proper way to do a burpee in crossfit is to go down and have the stomach hit ground. Then you push up. They are not doing pushups or any pushup variation. These are burpees
