I think one point that this video misses is how Baited! was a redemption tour for Keem. It came out in the wake of the Content Cop and after the Leafy / Grade videos, the internet had turned on Keem for mostly untrue info in those video. Nearly every Baited! somehow ended up talking about the Leafy and Grade assassination videos.
Baited! helped Keem get his reputation back and once Keem was cool again, he had no more use for it.
I actually ran into Keem at a party in 2017 and asked him if they actually got mad at each other when recording or if they played it up for the microphones. He said they were genuinely pissed at one another, and it seemed like he was telling the truth.
Indeed! Sure to focus on self, as usual... throwing around & trying to boost himself by stating THEIR growth, during & because of Baited! What he didn't do, of course... was give an ounce of insight, humility or respect to the fact that it is what caused HIS channel & reputation to be spared & grow; big time. When it started even, prob should have been an even split.. Believing his own perceptions, feelings & opinions are fact, making him the most worthy.. Lmao, no. Keem may have proven some of the claims from the Leafy/Grade videos wrong, but to act like he was absolved of literally everything in the video is fucking stupid. Keem has fucked up plenty of times.
Tbh as sad as I am to see it gone, it was very satisfying to see them rip on imallexx for their final episode.
I used to think he was a really good guy, now I have a hard time watching anything he's in.

It was quite frankly the best podcast I've ever heard. That's just my opinion but it was an incredible journey to witness. I'm grateful to have found Tommy C's SFTP and other creators from there. Really opened the door for me to the commentary community.
Keemstar was my fav Host on Baited. Yeah he was teh bad guy or whatever. But he was far more entertaining than then Clown & that laugh track guy. They should have gave Keemstar 90% of the money he was worth it! Just my thoughts.

Sometimes it was a mess to listen to with all the yelling over each other lol but for the most part it was quite entertaining. Keem and Clown are interesting characters, the podcast will be missed.

On hindsight it might not be the best idea, because Ethan Ralph can't take criticism and does petty shit like copyright striking videos that make fun of him. Personally I actually liked when Keem and Clown would talk about their friendship behind the scenes, I thought it was nice. Obviously it all blew up but it humanized the both of them in those moments.

Keemstar 43 seconds after calling zoe a pedo "i didn't call her a pedo" dude just says whatever and you're really seeing that desperation nowadays with him having to fight to stay relevant more then ever. Him on the adin Ross stream says it all.
I couldnt stand the podcast because of this, colossal was supposed to keep keem's lies in chains, because keem forget what comes out of his own mouth, except he barely did any of it and would usually yield to keem.
Baited, even now, has to be one of my favourite podcasts. There was no dynamic quite like it especially when it was at its peak.
I love how that guy uses the clown scene from the brave little toaster as his profile pic! Loved that movie as a kid!
The Zoie Burgher thing (and the fact that she and keem both still make a million dollars almost yearly) are why i hate american society sometimes

For those who've been around in 2016, it was like the most wild drama year. The baited podcast will never be the same and never probably will ever be replicated. One thing that stands out to me was about scarce. It would have been interesting to hear from their perspectives.

The first few episodes of the baited podcast were some of the best the community has ever had, even to this day, in my humble opinion of course.

You did really good job, especially at the overall history. I remember first listening to the podcast when the Leafy episode came out. I still fondly look back to the simpler times of 2016, etc., and Baited is good momento to those days.
However, I feel that you left out some of the interesting behind-closed-doors aspects and events of the podcast.
For example:
1. Keemstar did not just pluck Tommy C out from nowhere as some random small-time creator. Both Keemstar and Tommy had history involving TommyNC2010. I cannot remember the exact details, but it was something like where Keemstar accused TommyNC2010 of not being autistic and Tommy C defended the latter. Then, when the podcast started, Keemstar and Tommy C were friendly at first. In fact, Tommy was somewhat financially relying on his association with Keemstar and the success of the podcast. As a result, he would often be on Keemstar's side in the first few episodes. I think that Tommy C even admitted after the breakup that he was somewhat blinded. He was even accused of being a sicophant for Keemstar at the time. However, as the podcast went on, Tommy aligned more with Clown, becoming good friends, which was where they affectively formed their pact as you mentioned. This is also where, as Tommy C pointed out, Keemstar disliked him the more the podcast went on. Knowing this, it makes the first few episodes really interesting to listen to, particularly the dynamic between Keemstar and Tommy C.
2. One thing that you forgot to put in was that after the breakup, Tommy and Clown began their own podcast called Catch 33 with a new third member DeadOnDave and a reoccuring fourth, Lord Vega. It eventually decayed and died out out similar to the new Baited but for different reasons. I can understand why you did not include it since it is not strictly Baited. But at the time, it was seen as a rival to the new Baited and fueled the cold war between the two sides.
3. There is also a bunch of behind-closed-doors drama which we probably do not even know (and may never). Unless I am mistaken, there was at least two unrealesed episodes.

You forgot to mention the temporary and almost completely gone follow up podcast by clown and tommy, it was catch 22 or something in the twenties, im pretty sure it was with dead on dave. I dont know why it ended and also I never knew why andy left and im still wondering bruh
Also tommy showed a clip of the last minutes of the last baited and it was really interesting. i remember I think that they got really heated keem told tommy he always mentions being a vet but he never really did.
Fantastic video! 2016 is the year I truly got into UA-cam (albeit on another account) and was instantly hooked, spending huge chunks of time falling down one rabbit hole after another, and have never looked back. i think he's such a good youtuber because its NOT his career. when YT is your job and not a hobby then quality drops considerably because every channel is a rat racing to the cheese so quicker uploads earn the money. while Clown spends time only making videos or appearing in someone else video and podcasting only when it he has something of substance to add to it or is important to him. Even TBH could be done a bit quicker but we arent as lucky lol. stupid IRL obligations

Baited ultimately failed because Keem likes the sound of his voice too much and likes to surround himself with yes men. Also why the lineup change failed, without Collosal to call out Keem on his bulls**t it ultimately turned into an early version of mom's basement.

My biggest problem with this podcast was that Colossal was always defending Leafy and Grade no matter what the circumstance was. It was kind of annoying to see Clown just constantly defend them even though it was quite apparent that they were in the wrong.

Can we just appreciate the fact that both Keemstar and Zoey decided to stir up drama between them for publicity but did so independently of one another, and that it actually worked. Culminating in Zoey going onto Baited and then both of them reveal to the audience and each other that both of them did it for publicity, and the utter chaotic coincidence of it all? Like itβs not genius because it wasnβt planned, but itβs FAR more impressive specifically because it wasnβt planned and was just kayfabe the whole time.
I remember when baited ended watching SFTP and the amount of little girl drama that happened. Itβs amazing to me that they are grown men.
Like many other people watching this video most likely I was around during all of this and I came to this video not expecting to learn anything new but when I heard the critical audio clip I was very surprised because I have never heard that before. Very cool that you found some thing that I didnβt know about thanks for keeping this interesting always love your videos man keep up the good work

I've actually been going back and listening to Baited lately, it's one of my all-time favorite podcasts. I really wish it would come back but Chad does a great podcast with Max, and Mom's Basement is alright when Keem and Banks don't have on someone like Mike Majlak. They're good on their own but I wish they'd come back together and do a proper podcast, especially with Chad and Tommy on at the same time.
