This is one of my favorite Home Free reactions you’ve done. It’s a beautiful cover with lots of stuff going on. Adam Bastien has proven himself to be a valuable member! He’s got quite a range and pipes!
Just an observation and I could be wrong but, I have noticed that when you're reacting to a song that hits you in the feels you have twice as many interruptions and comments. It's as if you're postponing the inevitable emotional break and tears that are coming. It's actually cute.
Great reaction, Jenn! I saw HF live last week, and the show was fantastic. I really love Austin's voice, but I must say that the group hasn't missed a beat since the change. They sang plenty of their older songs sounded amazing.
Thanks Jen, the little things we do are so important when we have busy lives. A little note in a lunch box, or saying "let me know you arrive safely" all little things, but all huge really
Jen, I agree with you; the video pairs so well with the song's lyrics. I think anyone who has been married or in a committed relationship for a while can relate!
Written by Vince Gill for his first wife as they struggled in their marriage and a huge hit for Vince. Sadly, their marriage did not survive but Vince went on to marry the lovely and talented singer Amy Grant and they seem perfectly suited to each other.
What a great way to start my Monday. A good display of another facet of Bastien's voice. I have heard the first Christmas release from them. Bring tissues. Really. Have a great week.
Jenn, well done with the reaction. The impeccable emotional timing of the vocals and artistic that reflect the lyrics and interpretation of the words and vocal/music is spot on and really reel you into the picture they intentional create and you are there in the heart of the realistic interaction thinking about your own relationship with your loved one (spouse - significant other). Makes you stop and think am I giving 100% into the relationship or allowing the distractions around me to ignore what is really important to our relationships. Well done Home Free and the video production team. Message received in full and it matters!! 💝💖❤🩹💞💓💌💯❣
Hello Jen, sorry I have been absent so long. House got halfway destroyed by a storm on May 31st. Trees fell on it and of course lost all power. I am finally back and just loving every minute of this reaction. Thank you for making my day a happy one. Love and Peace to you and yours.
This totally shines on Adam Basiten vocally and the harmony are exquisite as always, Jennifer Glazhofer, you will have a emotional experience vocally and sitting in a sprawl position and basically crying inside of you from your intellect. 🥹
Hi Jennifer appreciate the analysis and perspective on the musical expression and how the verse and chorus flows together. Enjoying your UA-cam channel 🎶
Haha you’re funny. What did they do with the avocado? Thought this was beautiful. Bastien did a great job and Rob always has great ad libs. I didn’t know you met them. How cool is that? Always good analysis Jen. Love the way you say Chance. Good one!!!
Jen the new Adam has been singing with brother Chris Rupps band. He and Chris do some great music.! You probably knew that already but just my two cents worth.!😊 Always a great job.! Hope you showed Tim some of your Bass notes.!
Thanks for your analysis. Another beautiful song by Home Free. Nice that they featured Adam Bastien again on lead vocals for this country song. The background harmonies were great along with Adam's beatboxing. Also love the very touching video that went along with the song. Our lives are so busy these days but we need to connect with those we love in small special ways.
I think this song was an extremely smart choice by our guys! The other Adam feature was upbeat and with more punch, this one was lighter and a little more airy in places, making me very excited for the future! Their group blend was near perfect on this one so his voice will fit nicely when he is not in the lead! That was my most concern with a new member! Great job Jenn on the video and the music! Loved it! ❤ low bass Kenneth
I got to see them live again last week. Unfortunately, Rob was sick and couldn't go on. They used a pre-recorded Rob and had the stage manager Frank stand in for him. It was hilarious and was still a great show. Bastien fits well, and they sounded great. I've already pre-ordered the Christmas album.I'm excited to hear them with Straight No Chaser.
Great, and fun, analysis as usual. You always pick up on so many sounds that I miss, but I couldn't figure out what you meant about hearing "a sound" before the word rain and mishearing the lyric. It must be you're listening with your UK ear while I listen with my Michigan ear (I live 80 miles from Bastien's hometown). Everything he says is perfectly clear to me! LOL. Get ready for some great Christmas music coming soon from Home Free.
I think it was the k from "like" because he doesn't hit it till the beginning of "rain" -- "falling lie...k-rain". When run together, it could sound like "grain".
The actors were friends of the videographer for this video, Jimmy. They did an awesome job. I think it's great that they put Bastien in the lead for the first songs, but it would be interesting to hear him in the backing vocals with someone else in the lead as well. Btw, that's nor real rain they are using. If you look closely you'll notice that none of them is actually wet. It looks good nonetheless. Thanks for the reaction and analysis. I would have been at the premiere but I was on a train during that time.
Jen, I know it's still early, but I'd really like to see your reaction to Angels We Have Heard On High . I'm betting that you might get "stuck" like you did on How Great Thou Art 😜 !!
Love this song for Home Free! I first fell in love with it when Vince Gill wrote and sang this huge country hit! And by the way, Jen, are you and your boyfriend, Jacob?, still together?
I noticed you have not done Dimash unforgettable day which is one of his most iconic songs because of his whistle notes. I love to see your reaction on that.
Life can get busy and a few years back i realized that this was happening with my wife and I and i felt like we were starting to drift apart and we were arguing alot so i told her lets start doing a date day at least once a week. no electronics or distractions. We now or doing date day twice a week with no electronics and just us doing activities with each other.
This is all wayyy too positive for me. I could barely begin it. But I can't continue it. But my negative problems are actually all good solutions for you! Enjoy! 🎶 😊 You deserve it! 🎉
@justkaron When viewers don't complete watching videos, reactors don't get credit for them, and I wanted her to know why I didn't. It was not her fault. It was mine. ✔️
Hey my friend when will you react to more Dan Vasc anyway if you decide to listen to his My hear will go on best cover hands down it will put a smile on your pretty face it would melt that iceberg thank you
The video kinda showcases a fear I have for the world. It's already happened to a lot of churches where everything has become so commmercialized that there is no feeling or passion anymore. With our everyday lives getting more and more hectic it's less a about the reason and more about because society says so. I mean look at any IRL video and half the people are staring at their phones. There's no human connection like there used to be. It's virtual attention and not peronal.
I know HF kills every cover plus original songs they do but please check out Vince Gills original of I Still Believe In You. He is beyond good by a mile.
Hey darling! Don't get me wrong; I like Adam B's voice, but I don't think he is moving out of his comfort zone. Perhaps, I'm a little spoiled and looking for more texture to that lead tenor voice, and perhaps, I'm not giving it enough time to show up.
Wanna grab yourself some cute merch?? Check it out here - jenniferglatzhofer-shop.fourthwall.com/en-gbp/
I do believe Tim was fan-girling about meeting you! Look how he's pointing like "it's her! It's REALLY HER!" 😉🥰🥰🥰
😁 haha!

..and why wouldn't he be?
Tim has good taste. ☺️

I think this is very true 😂 it’s me trying to protect myself I think!
Great reaction, Jenn! I saw HF live last week, and the show was fantastic. I really love Austin's voice, but I must say that the group hasn't missed a beat since the change. They sang plenty of their older songs sounded amazing.
Great analysis of this Vince Gill cover. The song is good but the story going on is what hits on all cylinders emotionally.
And the guys story telling continuing with a grab your heart, they are the master of story telling.
Thanks Jen, the little things we do are so important when we have busy lives. A little note in a lunch box, or saying "let me know you arrive safely" all little things, but all huge really
Oh, so important 🧡

Me again! They also released a Christmas song! Please put that song on your Christmas list! It’s incredible! Low bass Kenneth
Oooh will do! 😁
Just the song so far, no video. It's an Adam Bastien original.
Oh, also, Adam Rupp said in his Discord that he cried recording it

Great reaction Jennifer! It's easy to see you are a romantic, which is a good thing. Keep-up the good work. 🎹👸❤
Such a pretty one from the boys!!

Hi Jennifer hope you are having an great and awesome day ❤
Always enjoy your reactions, Jen!
You can always guarantee the results when they do a video that fits the song so well.
Yes that was Rob singing and Bastien on the high riffs
That ending sounds like Warmest Winter by HF.
🥰🥰🥰

Seriously. This is vague posting.

It's a Vince Gill song.
Vince Gill wrote it in early 90s.

Vince Gill original
I think Bastien has a similar quality voice to Vince Gill.
"You don't remember, I'll never forget" from Yngwie Malmsteen please.
