I always thought it was fishy when they ask you to type a keyword to get a message in your DM. Now I understand.

You're so welcome Kathleen! I've been using this tool for a few months now and loving it 🙌 On the free plan it will still trigger right away! It's just after a certain point you'll have no "triggers" left, so that's the part you'll want to monitor 🙂 I hope this helps clarify!
hi Louise, question please: Are you able to schedule responses as you schedule posts? What is the post isn't live yet?
Hi there! That's okay! You can set up a keyword, and then schedule out your post, and no one will see the keyword until your post is live 🙂 So it's kind of like scheduling it out!
I love this idea and it appears helpful in sooooo many ways. But I have a question? What about email list subscriptions? Is this helpful for that? Or should we just send the freebie in the DMs?

Hey! Yes - regardless of whether its capitalized or not they will receive it! As long as it's the same word typed out, they'll get the message 🙌
curious, if i sign up for free for now.. i can only make one automation and for one specific post/reel?
I believe you can make multiple still, but only up to 1000 contacts! So you could have a couple, but once that reaches 1000 then the plan will max out and not send any other messages (automated) when someone comments. I hope this helps clarify!

Hey! Unfortunately I don't believe that you can at this time. However, you could likely include it within the text and just not have it clickable - so that's an idea 🙂

It depends! In this case, for example, I would have the client to sign up and pay for it, and then you manage it :)

Hey Vanessa! Unfortunately right now it looks as though this isn't possible - but I can see that it's a highly requested feature from ManyChat so hopefully in the future it's something they roll out 🤞
Does it also send these messages for existing/old comments with the keyword?
Hey there! No, it will only send to new comments (so comments made after this is integrated) 🙂
Hi there so when you say up to thousand subscribers that means I have to have thousand followers or it will generate 1000 auto responses can you clarify on that please
Hey Michael! It is subscribers to your ManyChat - so if you have 1000 followers on IG, but have 500 comment, then that counts as 500 on ManyChat 🙂 I hope this helps clarify!!
In the free version, can we only have 1000 customers in an account or it resets per month
Only 1000 customers in an account right now on the free plan! Unfortunately it won't reset! However, for all of the leads this helps bring in, it may be worth upgrading as part of a marketing plan 🙂
Hi dear, I want to know how to send 3-5 messages to a person with a procedure message , like here just comment manychat we receive one single message in DM but if we set a conversation with action buttons upto 3-5 messages is it possible?

Thanks for the video! Really helpful 🙏🏽. I have a question tho, I got some people that sent me the word, but I noticed it only works for people that follow me? Is there an option to auto send it even when they don’t follow? Hope to hear from you. Friendly regards Toby
Hey Toby! Yay - I'm so glad it was helpful 🙌 Double check your message control settings in Instagram specifically! Instagram Account > Settings > Privacy > Messages; and here just make sure that you can connect with everyone possible (as it may just be set up for followers/friends). I hope this does the trick for you!

I’ve tested it with my other Instagram account (where I don’t follow my current Instagram if that makes sense haha) and typed in the word and there it works, but for some people it doesn’t, really strange! I’ve check the setting what you mentioned and they are set the right way.

Hey! Oh no! I would try disconnecting your FB from Many Chat and then reconnecting it - sometimes a quick reconnect can help sort out any issues 🙂
If you have 1m followers can you still use the free DM? Per day it's more than a 1k people sending msg
You can - but it will depend on how many messages you get per day! If you typically get over that per day then yes you may have to upgrade, but if you find you'll be under that amount then you could still try the free plan to see if it works for you 🙂
i want to if they comment something they will get a msg saying follow this account then only they are eligible to get that pdf or something so this is how we can increase followers right
Hi! Yes and no... unfortunately this isn't advanced enough to only send the PDF once someone follows the other account! This automation works once someone comments a keyword 🙂 This will definitely help grow your list, but I would focus on creating content on an account with your ideal client, and then creating content that they would want to follow along with! That is the key here for getting more followers!

Hey James! No - absolutely not! This is a safe tool and just an integration with IG but only with specific permissions 🙂
Does anyone else have issues ? I did it the same way but when people comment is not working? Anyone else??
Hey Mauricio! Oh no! Something I've seen work for ManyChat issues is disconnecting your IG account and then going through the steps to reconnect 🙂 So if your comments aren't working, then I would give this a try! If it still doesn't work, I'd perhaps reach out to ManyChat to have them take a look at this because they'll be able to troubleshoot what is happening and why the comments may not be triggering.
Is that safe for instagram accounts?
Yes! 🙌 ManyChat is an official Meta partner, and Instagram has verified that using a tool like this won't effect your channel. I've been using it for months now and love it for connecting with my audience!
I need something to comment on artist post for me. I’m a producer trying to grow my business
Hey! I would do those comments yourself! There are tools out there that can comment on other people's posts for you, however, those comments are also seen as spam (and can be marked as spam by Facebook/Instagram) and so I would go and find artists and comment back yourself, this will really help create true connections (which will ultimately lead to more business) 🙂
Hi Louise. I was trying to install it but I didn't get an option to install it for free. Only for 7 days and then it would be paid plan. I'm not sure if I did something wrong, but I followed the steps and the free plan is not there. Maybe I will try later.
Hey Katharine! Hmm, that's so strange! There should be a free plan (see their pricing plans here: manychat.com/pricing). I'm thinking what is likely happening is that it is just a 7 day free trial of their paid plan, and they're trying to get you on a paid plan 🙂 I would try using the link above and registering under the free plan instead to see if that works!

Hey! I don't think that should be an issue! As long as you have an Instagram account, this should work 🙌

That's okay! You can simply connect this to your Instagram page only, if you preferred 🙌
my question is that I followed this to a T and the guidebook is not going to the people who hit keyword
Oh no! I'm sorry to hear that! This can be due to a number of reasons. The first thing I would do is make sure that your keyword is typed in EXACTLY how you've asked people to comment. Even one character difference can cause a disruption here! Aside from that, has this sent to anyone at all? If so - and if it stopped after that - it could also be that with the plan you're on it has surpassed that and therefore isn't sending anymore! These are the two places I'd check first 🙂 If it's still not sending, I would perhaps reach out to their support team and they'll be able to take a look at what is happening here!
@@louisehenry two good suggestions my keyword was staging, and I spelled it three different ways just for that reason the second one is I had five people go on my Reel and put in the keyword, but nothing showed up on their DM . Basically when I was setting it up on Manny chat, he kept telling me to drop it to comment and it would not change. It just got stuck at 24 hour reply kept telling me I had to do three things at another message box. so for right now I canceled my subscription with MCC until I can revisit this at $15 a month. I had to pro version if I’m not using it I can’t keep spending the money I like the concept I wish it work but right now I have to focus on UA-cam.
