    What a pleasant surprise to find this video. He moves so quickly that it may not be the best tutorial for beginner. I'd like to see a more detailed presentation of split grade printing (without relying on the super-expensive Heiland printing system) and exactly how to optimize the use of a metering system in the printing process. I have several meters and know the theory, buy I've never gotten to the point with them where they are more convenient than just starting with test strips.

      If you have an iPhone, iPod touch or iPad, there is also the enLARGE app which lets you make all your test and work prints in tiny whole frame sizes and then print the big prints directly as finished prints

    The printer is equally responsible for the art as the photographer. Amazing.

    • @orion7741
      @orion7741 7 місяців тому +1

      sort of, but not really because if a photographer does end up using somebody else to do the printing, the photographer is the one that tells the printer what to do and the printer just does whatever the photographer tells them to do.

    Hello Anton.
    This a verry nice video, I hope you also show us how you tone the print in selenium and show the difference between the two prints.
    Regards,
    Bert.

    • @AntonIvanov
      @AntonIvanov  5 років тому +1

      Bert Cremers Thanks Bert! Sure, we can easily check two print with a densitometer. Usually the difference between a not toned and the toned print is about 0,2 D in blacks!

    • @AntonIvanov
      @AntonIvanov  4 роки тому +1

      You can measure the densities of the negative or a print - and it gives you a lot of information about the exposure, real ISO, developing time and contrast. I'll try to keep shooting more videos.

    I have the Beseler 45 Universal just now set up no printing yet. I can’t learn how to use the built in color lights it has three to change the filter factors for black and white prints and I can’t find a manual anywhere :(
