Simple Xpresso technique to connect multiple spline points to multiple objects.
If I helped you, consider dropping couple bucks for me to buy food and continue on making these videos: www.buymeacoff...
Very helpful
A really good one! And I also saw that tutorial... Thank you!
Awesome tutorial. Is there a way to connect one object to a grid or multiple objects each with different splines? Thanks
Please I need to know how to do this with the mograph cloner :( Awesome tutorial!
Tracer object!
now I see why its called xpresso. Gonna need coffee for this shit lol
You've saved my life :)
my pleasure!
Thanks, for sharing, is really helpful. PLS if you go more deeply share with us
thank you for the tutorial!
one question, why is the null red?
There's nothing wrong with the nulls, you can colourize them however you want via Attribute managers Basic>Use Color>Display Color. I made them red so you can see them easier :)
Awesome tutorial! ...but if I want to make the spines dynamic afterward, I need to add subdivisions between each of the connecting points. But I can't seem to subdivide between each of the connecting points if the subdivisions are used as connectors. Does this make sense? How would you suggest making this spline dynamic after using this method?
This method will not work with dynamics tho, you gonna have to use a bunch of spline coinstrains and attach each point separately :/ There is a few plugins that do that tho, i think you can check out Topowire by Merk Vilson

wow thanks!
thanks for sharing!
Helpful. : ) Thanks.
If you want to know anything else about xpresso, drop me ideas :)
Thank you!!!
You're welcome! More to come!
cool
Thanks for an awesome tutorial! Is there a way to ignore some of the points in the list, so only the first and the last spline point is connected to two separate objects? :D
yep, just make another Point Node, connect your spline to it, then grab point count output and math substract 1. So your first spline Index will be always 0, and the last is gonna be point count minus 1 (because we're substracting the first point of the spline). Have fun xpressoing
PLEASE TELL ME HOW TO USE CLONED NULLS/OBJECTS INSTEAD OF INDIVIDUAL NULLS?

Thank you, i hope it helped :)
hello, friend, I just want to ask a question how to use the Xpresso to control the rigged hand which have controlled by Xpresso closing and opening ? I really need it ,I have found the method long time. But no one can solve it.
Really depends on the hand, you can do it without xpresso by using posemorph tag with rotation.
Can this work with curves or does the spline have to be straight lines?
It should work with curves! If you want to control tangents you can do it via spine IK, check it out!
One question - why not Tracer?
Obviously, the only reason is that the xpresso is an expression and not a generator so it may help to avoid some hierarchy issues. I will revisit this tutorial in the future to make the setup more procedural using tracer. :)
great tutorial, please check out my portfolio.
