In this video series, I teach a start-to-finish tutorial for creating Armenian Needlelace, which is the beautiful art of Armenian needlework. This art, also known as point lace, iğne oyası (Igne Oyasi in Turkish), Nazareth Lace, Bebilla, and Knotted Lace, is centuries old. I learned this art growing up in a Lebanon orphanage when I was a little girl. This art is also known as iğne oyası.
I hope to continue sharing this art with you all. Thank you so much for your support!

Hellooo i noticed on this video it looks different from mine. It looks like you do this every other row and in between you do normal knots. Ive watched this lots of times but I don't think I've heard you say to do that, it sounded like we should continue all the way around doing the butterfly the whole time. Should I be doing rows of seeds between each row of butterflies? Thank you!

Ashey, how do you end the last thread on a doily? Also I want to add flowers around the outer edge, how do you do that. And I cannot wait to learn new stitches from you, I am enjoying making my first doily with this art, the work is truly beautiful!

At about 1:32, an annotation pops up that takes you to a video that will show you how to make the first part from the beginning.
