All this time, I've been using the knot that's formed in Puncetto Valsesiano and Oya. The counter-clockwise wrap is new to me, but I like the knot it forms! Thanks for a really good video!
Beeswax is great for stopping threads (particularly cotton) from tangling. I always wash projects at the end bc I have dog hair around and sometimes snack while working. If any of the beeswax won’t wash out, dish soap should get it.

Have lots of channels teaching this lace. If you write "iğne oyası yapımı" on search you can find lots of different techniques. She is called Armenian lace but its real name is "iğne oyası" which mean is "needle lace" but Turkish way😊 this lace its really famous in Turkey and lots of lady making.

You can use a large crochet hook or pencil to stick where the loop is going, so the loops are uniform. Just like with the broomstick stitch in crochet or with popsicle sticks with other lace techniques. You take something that gives you the width of the loop you want, small or bigger.
She used cotton type of lace thread. Actually this lace name is "iğne oyası" not Armenian needle lace. If you are beginner this cotton thread is much easier but if you want to make it real one you have to use polyester thin shiny thread (oya ipliği). Because this kind of threads stronger, live longer and looking much more beautiful than cotton 😉👍🏻

I can give you some of channels name. For examples "Igne oyası yapım aşamaları" she is making really beautiful job. And with English substitute 😉👍🏻

How do you make the crocheted cord? Is it the same size thread or larger?
I used the same size thread. There are lots of tutorials online for crochet cords, I used one for Romanian point lace braid cord.

All you need is some thread, any size and a needle that matches the thread along with a small piece of cloth. I used size 20 cotton thread here
took me quite a few stiches to realise I needed to being the tail thread under and then right back over to the right again to form the knot oops
