Is that slip on a problem as it creates less back pressure? If it wasn't run through a cat would you see the same sorts of issues? (Novice mechanic, would love to learn more!)
Do you guys know if the 890 adventure r is the same as far as able to flash tune goes? I asked a local tuner (Brisbane Australia) he wasn't sure it was able to be accessed.... is the duke r motor ecu same as adventure r? Thansk
Are you able to offer an remap that still allows the bike to have the front and rear blinkers working if the bike has a full Akrapovic system or just a decat? Can we still get gains with stock exhaust and a decat? I would need to mail in the ECU. Thanks
Yes we can map the Akra system in without the blinkers constantly working and yes you can still get a good gain with the stock exhaust. Feel free to call us if you want to send us your ECU.
Could you improve peak power and flatten out any lean spots of an 890 adventure? And might be a stupid question but does getting this done void factory warranty or can It be kept hidden? Cheers
Yes definitely. You will still get a marked improvement in all the partial throttle openings. We generally see an improvement of around 4 bhp at WOT with a standard exhaust l.
Would you expect further improvements with a decat and KnN airfliter
I'd like to see the before and after Air/Fuel Ratio results and what target ratio you were aiming for for the final tune.
Could you show us the AFR please? Also, does the remap leave an engine fault light? Pleased to see you developing this bike!
There are no fault codes or MIL (Malfunction Indicator Lamps) on. There shouldn’t be with any good tune.

Yeah I'm trying to figure out the same thing. My 890adv r has the decat so I want to get it properly tuned

Yes it's done with our own programmer.
