  • Pain that feels like numbness/tingling/burning in the forearm is usually caused by a nerve entrapment. Most people have heard of Carpal Tunnel Syndrome which is a compression of the Median Nerve, but did you know there are other nerves that can be entrapped in the arm? Learn about Radial and Ulnar nerve entrapments that can cause pain in the arm and hand.

    I’ve watched so many videos on this topic and nobody ever talks about the bicep, so thank you. I definitely have nerve entrapment in my bicep and at the funny bone location. I get numbness and tingles in the thumb and pointer finger as well as the pinky and ring finger. Just starting to try and release it a little bit every day to not aggravate it. Thank you!

    I can't tell if these comments from Ivelina or Naida are recommendations for our clinic, the information in this video post, or if they are a solicitation for some other website or product. Thanks for the comments, nonetheless. Either way, hope this info helps lead someone that is struggling with nerve problems toward the right direction. Best!

    Ulnar nerve entrapment, thank you for giving me a name. I’ve had carpal tunnel syndrome for years, but this one is new. It pains me at night. When I press my pectoral muscle in a particular place, I feel the sensation in my fingers.

    I have been having pain in my wrist and forearm. It started about 2 to 3 weeks ago. If I do anything for a consistent amount of time I have sharpe like stabbing feeling. Recently it has started in my feet. I don’t do any type of physical work. I just want some type of relief. Doctors have started me on a new medication called voltaren until I get to a orthopedic doctor in several days. I hoping they find out what is causing this. I’m tried of living in pain. Is there any types of exercise I could do to help relieve some of the tension and pain?

      @@tahirarobinson2839 my small finger and 90% of my next finger are numb and feels like a shock or touching fire if i touch something. I found a trapped nerve under my elbow which was very painful. My gf massaged that and the pain went after a day but my small finger is still numb. I cant get it back to normal. I think all of mine are entrapped. Because I’m past the burning and numbness I’ve ignored since my late 20’s im now 42. And it’s just pain now both arms and hands. Sometimes numb sometimes not. Always pain now though. Also had a distal biceps tendon rupture endobutton surgery. And a slap tear in my shoulder. So I’m quite the amalgamation of titanium. Probably need more surgery huh 😔

    I cut my left forearm, just up from wrist, real deep and my thumb and back of hand is numb. Two weeks earlier I fell off a roof and landed on my right elbow, I've had issues with my ring and pinky finger tingling ever since with a pain going straight to the elbow. I'm in Central Florida is anyting here you could suggest.

    • @ChiropractorLebanonTN
      @ChiropractorLebanonTN  3 роки тому +1

      Sounds like you've had a rough go. If you cut the forearm enough the sever the nerve, you need a neurosurgeon. If not, when the cut is healed, you need to find someone that does nerve entrapment work. I'd suggest looking up an Active Release Technique provider (www.activerelease.com) near you that has the nerve entrapment certification. Best with your problems!

      Nerve pain from a puncture can be reversed. The strategy is: make sure the nerve is sliding well, has no compression above or below (utilizing Active Release Technique) and then give the sheath time to heal. Hope this info helps!

    • @ChiropractorLebanonTN
      @ChiropractorLebanonTN  3 роки тому +1

      Lucy, We often see multiple entrapment sites at one time, even in two different nerves in the same limb. Can it happen in both arms? Yes, but I would start looking to the "central nervous system" or at least near central at the neck where the nerves exit between the Scalene Muscles. Sounds like you have a difficult problem. Sorry you're struggling, but you need someone that is intelligent and talented to help you. You likely won't be able to get relief through Videos. Best!

      hey! I'm unsure what started everything off, I haven't felt quite right for a while now.
      My symptoms have changed in the last year.
      Muscle twitching started in April after being put on hydroxychloroquine, I was put on this for RA although that diagnosis is now under question.
      My main symptoms are - palpitations, blurred vision, tingling in hands and feet, burning sensation inner forearms and wrist area, hazy feeling in head.
      I also have intermittent stiffness in the front of my neck on the left side and stiffness in my fingers when I wake up.
      My neck was particularly bad from January onwards but is only occasional now.
      I went through a great deal of stress beginning December last year, so I'm unsure if this has played a part in my symptoms or speeded something up?
      I wasn't sleeping properly, (this has resolved now) and when I did sleep I was usually sat upright on the couch.
      It's all very confusing. I've seen many doctors and had various tests done. My blood show raised white blood cell count, ESR and CRP raised, ALP borderline raised and elevated igA.
      My Ck was quite elevated last time, but normal on my last blood draw.
      Getting nowhere fast regarding specialists, unfortunately.

One caveat, without "loosening" the nerve before implementing home care, there is a risk of irritating.
