Just a word of advice, the adamat hub will break on a 4cylinder, that's why we approached clutchmasters in the first place. We have beat the snot out of the clutchmasters hub in our s2000 as well as others with no failures.
@@SeemsLegitGarage I pulled 2 of the updated ones that had busted springs out last month.. same failure as the original and with less than 100 miles on them. It seems they are ok until around maybe 7500-8000 rpm, but the first 9500rpm rip blows the springs out.
@@SeemsLegitGarage I mean, the Corvette already did it with a torque tube. Any reason the same thing couldn't be done here? LS, torque tube, PDK, custom double wishbone suspension front and rear.
@@SeemsLegitGarage PDK can handle WAY more torque with clutch upgrades, can be run hard on the track with no issues, and can do hard launches basically forever. And it has way better logic for "normal" driving. Also, BMW's DCT doesn't come in transaxle form (AFAIK).

Would any of the V8 adapter work with the C63 W204? I’ve been thinking of this idea for a very long time. Kudos to you for making this a reality for us car guys.
If I wanted to throw the newer DCT’s out of the f13 m6’s or the new m5 DCT into the older E63 m6 would we still have direct access to the shift timing adjustment the way you do with the smg ? And how long would she be out of commission for said swap if I got her up to detroit ?
Hi, I’m working on my e24. Automatic transmission is broken and I was planning to match the m30 engine with a dct. Do you have adapter plates for a 8hp45 or a 8hp70?
Hello . Tqsm for the video . May i ask . What is the DCT 7 speed for my E60 M5 V10 ? . Better using F10 4.4 twin turbo or E92 M3 ? That can make it shift smoothly but still can shift smooth agreesively such as using Sport mode or rise the gear shifting bar . Or u got any better suggestion to me . Thx again
Depends on your available diff ratios. E92 M3 would be easier but limits to very low diff ratio. Shifting can be as smooth or hard as you want, no sport button though
We sell HTG controllers for the DCT, check out our tech article outlining everything. We have wiring harnesses available and you just need to tap into a few signals on the vehicle side. www.seemslegitgarage.com/post/dct-bible-chapter-3-control
I've noticed you guys now have DCT adapter plates for the B58. I saw Adam LZ's vid and was wondering, If i were to swap a DCT into a 340i (F30), would i need a custom driveshaft? Also, is it physically possible to mount a Ford 8.8 onto the F chassis?
Has anyone asked for DCT adapter for 5spd or 6spd Subaru Sti EJ25 engine? Is this something that's possible to do? What about a DCT replacement for Subaru's older 4EAT?
I would also like to know if there has been any interest in this area for the Sti. I think that is a vehicle that could definitely benefit these types of swaps. I know it might be harder since it's AWD, but I would want to do it.

I'd be interested in pairing an Audi AAN 2.2T with a RWD DSG transmission for my truck. That would be an 01e bellhousing pattern on the Audi engine.
