In your process "of figuring it all out".., and you are the perfect man for the job; could you eventually confirm or deny/reject how similar the F30 wiring is compared to the F22 wiring? I know first things first. Just something to think about in the future. Glad to see you back at it!!
That 6l80 fit in there nicely. I wish I could put one of those in y e91 but getting a 4l80 in there was super tight! looks good so far.
You would be surprised the 6l80 is smaller in some regards than a 80e. It has funny dimensions

@@tonykemper8896 no but i have done many transmissions in fox body cars lol, recently a 60e and then 6l80e in a 78 fairmont and in a bunch of areas the 6l80e is smaller than the 4l60e was, its taller and narrower in a strange way but fits easier in some cars ive seen

Thats awesome, I can't wait for part 2. I have to do an engine swap on my f30 and I was considering an LS swap but I have not seen much information about it but now i guess I'll wait a few months

Nice! I asked in the ls swapped Facebook group if anyone had heard of an F10 550 swap yet and a few guys said you were doing an F series swap now on UA-cam. I think they might have been slightly confused!

BMW pedal works with the gm ECU with an e38
yeah i saw that on some forums but i have a gen 3 Ecu haha i think im just gonna put the lm7 engine in my v6 silverado and go buy a gen 4 block from the junkyard @@snapc33

Yea better off just getting a terminator. Next issue you will have is controlling the stock fan. By the time you make it all work and buy everything required, holley is a better solution.@@ThaHammieJaassee

We were in the processes of closing our shop when I got sick and that sped up the process. Full time lse9x now.
Yea HangMan Was the shop, changing all the hangman branded stuff to LSE90 for symmetry sake, don’t need to look for hangman to find LSE90 stuff, now it’s just all under the same umbrella.
Would these mounts (motor & gearbox) work with those who stick with the zf8hp using an adapter?
Yes shouldn't be an issue. The engine location will have to be the same.
I got a L86 do u have a kit for that to go in F70
Any platform I can dm you on? Currently about to attempt this project after months and months of research… do you have any guess to when your swap kit for f30 will be available?

Unfortunately your wiring method won’t work work as it regards having a full functional dash and a/c however there are ways to make everything work with the the help of ecu master and htg can I/0 which will maintain all the canbus function giving you a functional car also an 8hp transmission would be significantly better in that car or dct. But that old slush box 6l80 is gonna take away so much from the car
Development stages. Made a can box for the E90 chassis already, I'll take care of what's needed otherwise. Also, I'm a fan of slush box cruisers.
@@lse90garage f chassis is on a next level. You have most ring, flex ray, pt can and Lin bus. Do you have some for flex ray ?
Yeah I am aware. That's the only reason we will be retaining DME for now to cut down on flex ray. Will get this one going with the EPS but will likely offer a hydraulic conversion as well.
@@lse90garage I’ve tried that and it didn’t work due to torque value being invalid
@@lse90garage check out the Adam from drift hq and you will see them having a f80 with a full operational dash every is explained in the video

The mount used in this car is the same location as our t56 mount

@@Kaus5221 doing an e38 ECU in this car and Holley having 6l control figured it was Time. Little gear ratio helps the na 5.3 turd be fun
