Great video, informative. Funnily enough, I picked up a Helios 44m in a haul of photography gear I paid just £20 for a couple of days ago. Shown in my latest short video. Hiding in a lens case was this beautiful, mint Helios, straight away I knew it was something special, my copy is from 1982 KMZ factory. I'm looking forward to some swirly bokeh action when I put it on my lumix g3.😊
@@pdtech4524 just looked at your short, very impressive, just £20 for all that, the Helios 44-2 I bought alone cost me more than that ( the first proper vintage lens I bought) I'm a bit more canny nowadays, but still your bargain hunting skills are top notch
I bought a nice Helios 44 13 blades on ebay for £57 BIN, seller advertised it as 8 blades. Earlier Biotar and Helios 44 lens coating were not strong but it creates nicer bokeh and neutral look.
I am a UA-cam service provider. I found your channel and saw that you are putting out great content on UA-cam but you are not getting enough like comment views and subscribers. As like as other youtubers get . This could be attributed to the lack of SEO and optimization, because your video SEO score is very poor and there are no keywords incorporated in your video and your videos have not been shared on any social media platforms. You need to optimize your channel and do video SEO to reach your target audience. I am a digital marketer. If you want I will give my best work for you. First I am not asking you for money. First I will show you the work then you pay me. Are you interested?

@@simonc4764 I've not come across the 13 blade version, I've been told that they are better constructed, seems like you got yourself a bargain there
i like the coatings on the Biotar and early Helios 44. they produce more organic tones
Well done ✅
Thanks, glad you enjoyed it 👍
It is not the lens that shot the batman, it is an operator that shot the batman 😂
@@ViktorSv-fc1gf quite right,I stand corrected 😂
