It provides a nice chronological overview of the Waffen SS camo uniforms used from 1936 to 1945. In my opinion it is totally must have book for all German military fans, for all figure painters who need perfect references and ideas for their miniatures. It will be perfect tool to answer the question how to paint miniatures with waffen ss camo patterns.
If you have a chance and free money to spend, I highly recommend this book to add to your collection.

Even as a long time collector, having many books on the very subject (Schiffer publications etc.) in my library I am impressed by the very high level of this book. Worth every penny. This publication will be more than enough even for advanced figure painters.

One major reason why I support you is this section; book reviews. Unlike sites on the Internet books have been through a process to ensure a certain level of quality, technical reviews and language reviews but also the most important review of the facts. That's why books have a price tag. Reference material like books is a must for everyone who is looking to achieve realism in their models and diaramas. It is a great book for sure, only received mine a week ago.
A bit expensive @ $175.00(AUD) but when I look at just Schiffer’s volume 2, camouflage uniforms of the Waffen SS with what I paid for that alone (approx. $200 AUD) it is a bargain!

Does the book cover the "Variagated Leaf " pattern ?, probably the rarest WSS camouflage pattern.
