Yeah, that’s how I normally get myself to sleep and why I do have some dreamcore dreams lol.
My most recent one was a lucid dream where I was in a diner which was light pink and blue and seemed like it was in the middle of nowhere. There was this lady with 5 eyes as a head, 4 extra arms and spiders on her body with a cutesy pink Lolita uniform. She served me and what seems to be my family a milkshake and some fries. Oh and there was a guy at the bar with fire for his head.
When I woke up, I was like: Yeah that was definitely from Undertale. Those two were legit Muffet and Grilby.

Idk, maybe your life is too… normal? Dreams use memories and thoughts to make themselves.
Try to make life more wacky and consume internet that’s more vivid but not directly focused on dreamcore.

All of these characters are completely made up but are designed to seem like other worldly beings that you would only see in your head, Aka your dreams. I didn’t dream up these characters how ever and made them up simply from imagination. Great question btw! ^^
