A lot of old UA-cam videos are corrupted now. Something with UA-cam moving its servers and messing up old videos. If you look up, for example the W.I.T.C.H theme song and watch the video from 15 years ago, part of it is glitched.

Over a decade later, and I genuinely still can't decide if this is a hellish, Lovecraftian nightmare of body horror in which the cats exist in a perpetual state of terror and agony as their bodies are twisted into unnatural forms, or a lovely, peaceful, ordered, civilised society of cat-like creatures who may have a life cycle that seems odd to us but are nevertheless happy and content in their little slice of suburban life. Honestly, which of those two alternative seems most fitting probably depends on my mood at the time.
Considering the fact that their society is organized, has modern technology, and none of them seem to show any signs of distress, we can assume that they're just living life as normal as humans would. They just go through life differently. Considering the fact that there's a railroad, a fully functional train system, and courtesy given to the railroad laws (since the cat stopped at the crossing), we can also assume that they're intelligent. Since cats also ride in, well, other cats, we can assume they're peaceful to each other too. At least in the city. And they don't seem to show any animosity to other cat breeds too. I'm not sure what to make of the environment being seemingly alive, and the fact that the cats can turn into trees. It might just be an incredibly liberal society where the cats can become literally anything they want, and the buildings are all alive in some way. But somehow, they also have order in their world, and laws. It's very utopian in a way.
The fact that this song is basically an animation meme now is insane so many animations use this song and call it a meme and when you knew that this is where its from its kinda weird to realize that its a meme now

Over a decade later, and I genuinely still can't decide if this is a hellish, Lovecraftian nightmare of body horror in which the cats exist in a perpetual state of terror and agony as their bodies are twisted into unnatural forms, or a lovely, peaceful, ordered, civilised society of cat-like creatures who may have a life cycle that seems odd to us but are nevertheless happy and content in their little slice of suburban life.
Honestly, which of those two alternative seems most fitting probably depends on my mood at the time.

Considering the fact that their society is organized, has modern technology, and none of them seem to show any signs of distress, we can assume that they're just living life as normal as humans would. They just go through life differently. Considering the fact that there's a railroad, a fully functional train system, and courtesy given to the railroad laws (since the cat stopped at the crossing), we can also assume that they're intelligent. Since cats also ride in, well, other cats, we can assume they're peaceful to each other too. At least in the city. And they don't seem to show any animosity to other cat breeds too. I'm not sure what to make of the environment being seemingly alive, and the fact that the cats can turn into trees. It might just be an incredibly liberal society where the cats can become literally anything they want, and the buildings are all alive in some way. But somehow, they also have order in their world, and laws. It's very utopian in a way.
