Legit question….What’s a God Sister? I’ve never heard this term before. From what she’s saying, is it just their moms chose each other as God Mothers?
In Christian faiths Godparents are chosen to help parents raise their children up in the faith. During a dedication or christening they stand up and say they will be accountable to this child. The secular version is really just saying I will be an important part of your community. A second set of parents. So the children become God siblings. You basically treat each other somewhere between siblings and close cousins.
I’ve had a god mother and father but I didn’t consider their kids as my god siblings. What’s next… my god aunt and uncle? God cousin? God nephew?
God dog. 😅
@@suvariboy That would be awesome.
That’s you, though.
