Love It CVVCLIPS Bro.
John Cena sounds like a narrator for an audiobook
That’s why he convinces people to buy HONDA
He actually did an audio book, it was good, love to see it as a movie or TV show :)
The man’s voice is relaxing as hell.
@@MrXander0319What's the name of the audiobook, Xander?
@@vimalpatel4060elbow grease! It was great 😊
One of the few times Cena got a massive pop during his "Super Cena" days that didn't involve a mix of boos. It lasted for about 5 minutes before the crowd began turning on him again lol. Was good while it lasted.
5 minutes? it was like, 20 seconds. Everyone cheered and were excited, but then half the crowd remembered that they hate him and switched to booing. 😅
@@Lunarcheese72 5 minutes, 20 seconds, 2 years, it's the same thing. I do math like Scott Steiner brother!
@@stoddard1953 Good ol' Big Papa Pythagorean!
@@Lunarcheese72It just shows how fickle fans are. They were genuinely excited but to try and be cool, they started booing. Cena's brought this up before too. That the initial reaction that fans have is their actual real feeling about a situation such as when fans popped when Goldberg originally returned but that after the initial reaction, fans turn cynical and jump on Twitter to give their "disapproval" even though they may have cheered at first. Their initial reaction is always the most genuine. That's why McMahon always said the fans don't know what they want and that u have to show them what they want.

I went nuts. John Cena was such a hero to me back in the day!
Man, everyone at the time made it sound like Cena was superhuman for recovering so fast but the way he explained it made so much sense.
Most people only did PT 3x a week because they had other commitments but Cena's only commitment was to WWE and he made PT his life for those 3 or 4 months.
Same. I Was a super fan as a kid 😂
I remember that. That night was crazy! The pop was huge 🔥
I was surprised 😊 🤯 and during 2008 social media wasnt as big compared before, there was no article about cena at all and no advertising. Thats how u do a surprise
I remember being in 5th grade and my friend telling us john cena just came back and this was when social media wasn't that big indeed or no wrestling articles as much
I was remember that moment I was like “OH S**T he’s back 😮”
Randy and hardy headlined that I believe too good card
@@bradbod9036 that RKO Randy hit on Jeff in that match was NASTY!!!!!!
The best return ever in my opinion, not one person on the internet predicted this at the time as it was before it was a common thing for wrestlers to come back earlier than expected
Edge beats any return
@@SwagSurf-od3vxYhh I can’t lie edges return was fucking amazing and beats Cenas but his is 2nd
HHH's return was good too in 2002
@@SwagSurf-od3vxhis return got leaked on the internet
@@SwagSurf-od3vxnot even close to cenas return kid😂😂
To this day, that Rumble is still my favorite. I remember watching it as a kid with a couple of my school friends and when Cena's music hit, all of us went crazy. He really was Super Cena back then.
I love chris reliving the moment of cena winning the rumble and doing the entrance cena in the rumble what a mark
I watched a documentary and they said when Batista broke his neck basically not long after he showed up to the arena with a bandaid on his neck and just was like “hey guys “ 😂goat shit
this is the pec injury
@@withjermaine Im aware I was referring to when Cena broke his neck in that summerslam match with Batista
Man that 2008 Royal Rumble return by John Cena is so iconic, a truly unforgettable moment. John Cena the goat 🐐
I remember being in school a week of talking about the Rumble. Everyone had HHH, HBK, Taker, Batista etc as their favorite to win. I told them “John Cena’s gonna come back at No. 30 and win”
Same and some people I thought I was dumb for saying that
@@LTRUTH334omg well done omg wowwwww......no
Congrats what award are u getting
Man, I love it when Cena talks about this surprise. Still one of the best surprises in WWE history.
2:07 is what I go back and watch. Seeing him come out giveme chills to this day
This is my favorite channel. It's such a great time to be a wrestling fan! These interviews are always great and Chris is amazing!
Much appreciated!
@@CVVCLIPS much appreciate you!
The thing NO-ONE ever talks about is the interview he did before the event discussing how frustrated he was that it was taking so long
holy shit you're right 😂😂😂😂😂
@@Nobody-xe9fc I remember listening to it live
Between the ropes was phenomenal in its day
Taking so long. A one-year injury at worst. He came back in like 3 months and that's his concern.
This man is not human.
That return still gives me chills
to this day that return still gives me goosebumps
So as a PTA I'll say please don't go ask for something like this lol. John didn't pull this off just because he did a bunch of physical therapy. It was also the fact he was in incredible shape to start with and because in his profession the person working with him is doing a ton of protect him, and limiting his strain much like he said to give him even longer before really pushing it. It's amazing what he pulled off in terms of healing but there are a lot of factors as to why it was possible beyond "I did PT 3 times a day."
hes also just a freak of nature, 1 in a billion genetically
Triple H face is what made the return over the top amazing. As some one who came back from similar type injury you can tell he was in shock
Triple H is really good at selling a moment with his facial expressions. Mankind taking of his mask and shirt to reveal Cactus Jack is another example
Hands down ine of the best returns
I came across a video the other day of a guy recording in the crowd during this return. 2008 doesn’t seem so long ago, but watching a video from a fan really comes across different
It’s a shame this movie is just on Prime, I’d love to go watch it in the theatre
One of my great childhood memories!! Sucks how the internet has ruined much of the surprises/returns these days. I remember everyone talking about Brock coming back and so many fans had signs expecting his return.
The internet was also different in 2008, social media was still in its infancy and back then it was almost impossible to leak information like they do now.
BS the web forums and wrestling websites were already leaking everything at that time. Dirt sheets been around
Couldn't believe it when his music hit. I'm not even a Cena guy, but man I had goosebumps on my arms, chills up my spine, jaw on the floor. It was just such an amazing moment. Of course Triple H in the ring. Who better? That man had that exact same experience years before when coming back from his leg injury. To think now that even he didn't know Cena was gonna come out and his reaction was genuine put a big smile on my face. It was so unexpected that weren't even any rumors that he could return. Nobody comes back that quick. It's insane!
I remember checking after the Rumble to see who won and being like "Wjat the hell", Then seeing it after the fact. IT WAS AWESOME. To this day, probably the best kept surprise return in WWE history. Or atleast in the last 20 years or so.
Me and my cousins had the 08 rumble on TV and we went nuts when Cenas music came on at number 30 sheesh
John cena needs to write a book about that return I remember being a kid being mind blown by that!
Knowing Dr. Andrews Office, having gone to the entire Orthosports Clinic here in Birmingham....it is still often brought up how much of a medical marvel Cena is. But it also taught them that the physical therapy is not about days, it's about reps. Which is one reason why Andrews' team is so good now. They do physical therapy almost immediately. It really pays off and Cena not only helped medical professionals see how valuable reps were....but that these reps were not dependant on days or time. But in the reps themselves.
Definiyely up there among the greatest and most surprising returns of all time.
Pfffttt...you must be young
This was the start of the Super Cena Arc.
It was my bday and I was a very happy 7 year old when my favorite won 😂
That was my favorite I love him so much
Zhong Zina man back at it again! SOOOO Inspirational.
- The greatest WWE moment in my life
The moment that literally got me into wrestling and I haven’t ever really left
Oh I remember this night so clearly. Bro my house went stupid when Cena came out
I remember I was really bummed in the moment but in hindsight it was great
I remember that day like it was yesterday man, i was so fucking happy😭
Those were good times
Bro i wasnt even a big john cena fan but i wasnt a hater either. Thats like top 5 most shocking greatest moments ever to me. Like they said literally no one expected it. After that i got new respect for cena for coming back so fast
That's my favorite since I was five years old
Damn, John is so introspective and brilliant. I totally didn't take into account that to keep it as big of a surprise as possible, they couldn't plan any fancy spots around him during the match, so they took the risk and kept it basic, knowing the moment would outshine the art, as he mentioned. Furthermore, keeping it basic helped keep his pec in check so he could make it to Mania healthy.
I wasn’t a huge fan of Cena but even I was blown away by that appearance
Dedication and wolverine-level recovery!
I was there in person, it was amazing.
Lots of prayers and vitamins brother
Rock, Austin, Punk, Cena etc have same level of mic skills in the ring. When it comes to articulation, he's on a league of his own. I can't be the only one who noticed this?
John Cena need to turn Heel 🔥🔥🔥
I’m now only noticing that John Cena has big ears and no, you can’t unsee it
My God What a Professional this man is , MY GOD
As a physical therapist, I am now watching my back.
It was such a surprise he got a positive pop in new york in 2008
cena is the man
I remember being in attendance for that event and never have I heard MSG go crazy like that before…..than again both rangers and Knicks both sucked in 2008
OH MY GOD! ITS JOHHHHN CENA
I remember talking to a friend of mine and asking him who he thought was winning the Rumble that year and he barely ever watched wrestling at the time but he said John Cena. I was like nah he's out for a bit. He was like doesn't matter he's winning it....I was in total disbelief when Cena came out and actually won it lol. Buddy was like told ya!
Cena was at the middle of his prime. Of course he needed to come back ASAP
John cena is the GOAT ❤
Even i who hated the super cena shtick was happy he was well and a surprise. Also from a recovery standpoint it was wild
Two faced

"What do you remember about it?", is such a good question by John here.
He returned and won, but how he won was not anything big, not anything anyone would remember. It could not have been because they literally could not plan it!
works plus hgh and peptides - athletes have special juice
I wil also say he was never the most high motion guy but a. He reminds me of Jake the snake in that way to paraphrase Austin " he doesn't do a whole lot but he's always working for that aa"
B. He worked a safe style that even if he wasn't in perfect condition he xoukd still do some work
Recovered quick because of all the juice he was taking
John Cena is the greatest of ALL time
This gives me a little hope that Punk will return at Mania

Ah yes, the voice of Honda
The voice AI cleaning is jarring lol
This is why he’s the GOAT
THE GOAT CENA
0:22 and pause..... does he send off a lil bit of Vince Vibes ? (I mean how he looks of course)
CM Punk needs to take notes 👀📝💪
I just noticed John Cena Ears are HUGE!!!!!
People don't understand that was not an injury you come back so quickly from
Imagine if kurt angle would've been active in WWE that time... Cena vs Kurt would've been bigg
I had no idea that he moved to Birmingham, Al.
"That timeline is based on the construct that you do physical therapy 3 days a week. I would do physical therapy 3 times a day."
This man is a beast.
Terminator Reboot Confirmed
Is John losing his voice?
I’m tripping idk why John cena look like Vince to me in this video 😭😭😭🤦🏾♂️
I remember my shock, and then my anger when I realised he was going to beat Triple H, my favourite.
John cena is the goku wwe
If anything...he's Chi Chi.
@@TJ-fe7rr I don't hyper chamber healing tank reminds me of frieza saga goku healing tank

Yep. Super Saiyan
How was john cena and eddie guerreros Relationship ?
I think Cena was being modest, you must be a genetic freak to heal as quick as he did
He sounds like an A.I speaking lol
It’s Ricky Stanicky rn
He probably just upped his dosage during his cycle
I’m turning this Achilles Tendinitis around John! My desired destination for the octagon is destiny I will not let slide
Who is Ricky Snanicky?
It is still amazing to see how easily he can look straight down a camera and lie outright about not using performance enhancers as part of his training/recovery. I believe that he was doing all the physical therapy he said he said he was doing, but so do NFL, NHL, and UFC athletes, and they do not have 3 month recovery times for a torn pectoral. I don't even condemn him for using performance enhancers, because he clearly is not addicted or abusing them. Just stop lying about being clean. It flies in the face of everything he stands for.
WTF IS YOUR PROBLEM JUST LEAVE CENA THE DAMN ALONE !
This is what CM Punk needs to do. Do physical therapy almost as frequently or as frequently as Cena did back then. Obviously it's different now. Cena was 30 and Punk is like 45. But I've seen older wrestlers work hard to get back in the ring. AJ Styles is a year older and he looked jacked when he returned. So did Orton, who's about a year and a half younger but he looked like a monster. Bigger than he's ever looked. Punk needs to start working out and getting in shape. He has the motivation to do so. Because of Drews promos almost every week about him and his shirts too. If Punk doesn't start working out and getting bigger, I think he'll get injured again. Maybe even as soon as late this year and he could end up missing Wrestlemania once again
Ricky Stanicky.
deflated cena looks like mcmahon
Cant John Cena answer one damn question without sounding like hes reading off a script?
Shut up and go away
his like this leave him be !
Audio sounds terrible
Anyone else think Cena is morphing into Vince McMahon (a none rapey version)
They hid Cena in a closet before his # was called now that is crazy
I wish he was more human.
I was disappointed that it ended with the classic “Cena wins lol” of the era, but there was no doubt it was a shock to hear his music hit. But man did it lead an underrated classic of a triple threat at Mania.
boo hoo
