🤞🍀🤞🍀🤞🍀🤞🍀🤞🍀🤞🍀You made me laugh drinking my coffee early morning. You also ENCOURAGED me to get some painting done. You are quite artistic & have a lovely persona. 🍀🤞🍀🤞🍀🤞🍀🍀🤞🍀🤞🍀
So I was helping my sil with a cake a few weeks ago and when she started stacking it I did the carful SpongeBob thing to her. Now her kids will do it from the other room when she stacks cakes! I feel a bit bad but it is funny! I mean as long as the cake doesn’t get dropped I think it’s fine…
Mimo, I was watching a short from another channel on my feed and thought of something cool you could offer. IDK if it works with your schedule but maybe something you could think about. You should have dolly wedding cake/tiered cake "kits" people can pre-pay for. You could sell the mini cakes pre-assembled (so you can freeze them) and then send some decoration stuff alongside it--some pre-colore butter cream or small pieces of fondant to roll out. Then the pre-pay is adjusted to whether or not they need you to provide mini tools. If you have a friend who does or if you do woodworking, you could have them cut out 3 sides of a venue that the tables could decorate with tempura paints and/or stickers, then the ones you don't want working with cake or don't want to do cakes can still join in. You could probably sell the cake kits for $10-$15 before tools or other decorations are added. Genuinely, if kids had something like this to do at a wedding reception or other big celebration, they'd probably have more emotional investment into it and also something to do other than be on their feet with complete strangers they may not like. It would also be really fun for bridal showers or baby announcements/gender reveal parties, baby showers, etc. Maybe a volume discount if they don't vary cakes or all choose the same colors. That kind of thing. Thanks for always sharing your wisdom with us!
I've watched your videos and as a cake decorator myself I think you can use some tips. These are things that I do everyday for work and would really help improve taste and skills. Firstly I'm not sure if you use any simple syrup to moisten your cakes but if you don't it would really help improve your cake flavors. Why? It adds that lil extra sweetness to your cakes and as stated before will male it moist so your not serving a dry cake. Secondly when doing smaller cakes such as 8"-5" you really can tort your cakes into halves. So like make two of the same size cake, level the tops, then tort them in half to make two layers. In the end you can make a 3 layer cake or a 4 layer cake that still create that height you desire. Any scraps left I use for cake pops in the end or for muffin filling later. You'll save money in the end and won't waste any product. Simple syrup recipe is so easy. It's two parts hot water and one part sugar. Wait for it to cool before use or add a lil cold water and can be used immediately. From one decorator to another I hope this helps you or anyone else.
I appreciate that. I do use simple syrup. Check out my watering Wednesday videos. As for torting the cakes, I bake them at 325 for an even rise so I usually don’t have a dome shape to cut off 🥰
Thanks for replaying back! 😊 hope these these tips help others too and we as decorators can continue to help each other out. Best wishes and love seeing your content 💕
Mimo you are honestly one of my favorite UA-camrs, you bring such positivity to the UA-cam platform and make everyone’s day so much better! Also the cushion part looks pretty time consuming 👀
Salam, i wanted to ask where your located my brother have Jalsa in Aguest 28 2022 my mom asked for a cake i wanted to get Dairy Queen but unfortunetlly it not halal can you pls tel me where you located😊
My grandaughter wants this exact cake for her 17th birthday next month. But the rossetts. She wants pink. And a silver dimand studded non edible border on the bottom of each tier. We'd then for the topper she wants a silver dimand studded queens crown with silver dimand studded number 17 through the middle of the crown. And then she wants me to write on the top tier around the crown. Dancing Queen Young and sweet only 17.. I'm no pro. But this is gonna take me a while. Few days. HELP.......LOL
I'm really nervous. I've done all her birthday cakes these past 16 years. I'm just not too good with the fondant. I need some advice on how thin to roll it out and get it smooth onto the cake. I usually do just swiss meraigue buttercream. For decorating and crumb coating and she wants a carmel cheese cake filling between each layer. And vanilla cake flavor. And the vanilla Swiss meraigue buttercream. Rossetts. I'm just worried. The icing won't be stiff enough to make the rossetts to stand up and keep thier shape.
Oh my gosh! 😂😂😂 I really need to check the emojis this app uses. Of all the emojis to use, it decides to put up the middle finger for the word middle 😂😂😂😂 it’s kind of funny
When I saw testimonies all over i thought it was made up stories till i was convinced and gave her a try and honestly i don't regret the move i made because i invested in a big way, I'm not here to converse for her but to testify just for what I'm sure of , she's trust worthy and best option ever seen .
