Great finds today!!! Can’t wait to see how that fixed blade turns out after you make it your own. I got one ready to head your way!! Thanks for sharing!!
Thank you brother Jerry and I should have a video on how it turned out later tonight and yet agian I am super stoked about that one once agian thank you so much
I’m glad ya got your first GEC back dude that’s cool. The blue is on point and i love the sheepsfoot. Also i bet you can whittle yourself a great crankbait brother. If you have’t already haha. 👊
I hope you are now convexing your edges. I don't need to preach anymore. Plenty of good videos on convexing and a cheapy WorkSharp Field Sharpener is even enough to do the job. Practice on your cheapy beater knives and within a week you will be a pro and you will start seeing how much better and longer the edges hold up and all you will need to do is occasionally use a fine ceramic honing rod but stropping is usually enough. It's the way it's been done for thousands of years and still the best. Just ask a Samurai or a Sushi chef and they will both tell you convex. Arrowheads and stone knives were always convex as well. Blessings
Super video keep up good work
