- Made the trip to Joplin, MO to meet up with Frank at Speed Dealer Performance and talk about his FXR build. The amount of custom parts that went into this bike is pretty amazing. This thing is a monster of a performance build - stripped down with some serious weight reduction coupled with a ton of power out of that S&S 124, not to mention all the other upgrades. Easily one of my favorite bikes out there.

This bike doesn't get enough airtime and attention. The details on it are insane and so different to most other FXR's out there. Its not surprise that those that know FXR's like BKP noticed this bike and put the respect on it.

THIS FXR IS %100 RIGHT UP THERE ON MY LIST. TRUELY A HIGH-PERFORMANCE, PURPOUSE-BUILT, QUALITY PIECE OF ART. AHHH THE FUN YOU COULD HAVE ON THIS IS ENDLESS , WOULD BRING A NON-STOP EAR TO EAR, SHIT EATIN GRIN. FROM THE TIME I STARTED IT TIL I PULLED IN TO HOME.
I AM A HUGE FAN OF "ALL-THINGS FXR" AND HAVE BEEN SINCE THE VERY FIRST TIME I LAID EYES ON ONE IN THE FLESH = 1991, AGE 20. THE FXR IS MY ALL-TIME/OVER-ALL FAVORITE MOTORCYCLE.
This bike is perfect in every way. I will never forget this bike/video. Damn man, you did a really good job on this FXR

Agreed, the amount of weight he took off was one of the more impressive things about the build.
Absolutely amazing built fxr harley davidson. You're talking about probably one of the fastest as well with the 124ci motor and it weighing under 600lbs!!!

The rims on that FXR right out of my childhood Moto mag when BMX bicycles got started when I was a kid they were the first set of custom wheels I ever got my hands on it had to be there to understand evidently I wasn’t the only one nice job
I just started watching your you tube show and love it..so mean kinds of harley davidson I just have one thing to say... . Let's hear these bike fire up. Just to hear the engine and the life of the bikes.. so kept your right hand cranked and your feet on your pegs.. kept up the good job.

Reference selecting nuetral for long stoplight waits..... select it whilst rolling the last few MPH to the stop - it's easier then - while still moving. It's an old Brit bike trick that we picked up way back when we all rode them ... the damn things were all wore out on the clutch operating side and the trannies were a bit beat up as well due to the fact that no one ever bothered maintaining things properly back then !
Doing it on my Buell too, that neutral behaves like a a hard-2-get-girl when stopped :D

Heman fabrication in Indianapolis sells a chromoly hfxr frame also which will save so many lbs I think 30+ from factory.

I got some footage but the audio was jacked. Probably should have tossed it in at the end anyways (although then people would have complained about bad audio 🤣). Might post it up on my Instagram here in a few days for you.
