This thing is so good. From the fab work to the entire aesthetic of the bike. I think he hit the nail on the head. Dream bike material in my book. Well done.
An M8 FXR has been my dream for several years but being a disabled veteran living on basically nothing there’s been no way for me to realize this dream. Congratulations on a job well done.
I wanted to buy a FXR for my first HD but I’m no mechanic so I bought a FXLRST for reliability reasons. I’d absolutely love to have a FXR with a M8. That’s a beautiful ride!
Best spotlight to date. Cory was very well spoken explaining all the details, saw this bike at born free. I knew it was a unique build. Sound on the spotlight was prefect Ben.

@@maindrivecycle thank you brother you know I own a 2020 fxbb and I got my lucky Dave’s bars and my suspension but this episode truly gave me the inspiration to make it my own and think out side the box and know ideas are spinning upstairs thank 🙏 keep doing you and keep inspiring 👊
I just came across your videos. I really like this dude. Seems like a great dude very knowledgeable and nothing hidden. For me wanting to get into building bikes I would love to learn from him.
What a concept for a build! I thoroughly enjoyed this interview and video! Harley needs to make a bike like this as a part of their enthusiast or icon collection.
It's nice to hear his perspective, nothing better than the stock look. Its inspiring me to keep working on my 2020 fxlr towards an M8 fxr. I wonder where the bags are from.
The cold start is in there right after the outro. I put the startups in there almost every video. Riding shots don’t always happen just because it’s time consuming and either the interviewee, or myself, doesn’t have the time. It’s on my to do list for the future, just not always possible.
Great build! And really neat interview...comes over as very authentic and legit, like both you fellas are on the same wave. Solid post Cory and Ben! Greets from Oz...
I got an m8 97 fxdl going now. I also did a 97 fxdl TC 103 swap last year. Clean looking for you got there. Saw one at a show couple years ago. Definitely clean work.
I like when whoever it is asking questions behind the camera, and Ben is looking like , who’s doing the interview here. Lmao. Keep the guy’s behind the camera, behind the camera. And show more of the bike. Like your videos though man. Keep ‘em coming.
Awesome build I was thinking about converting wet heads to oil cooled just what's involved besides swapping out the oil pump and heads? What's about the ecm does it need to be flashed?
Corey is an absolute legend love this dude foreal. But on another note, WHERE HAVE YOU GUYS BEEN!!!! is get bent done for? It’s been like five months mabe since a vid dropped. I love this channel yall may be the best at what you do please come back
I dont know a lot about CAN bus, BUT, impedance and resistance, while they can both exist in a ckt, this can only happen in an A/C ckt. Impedence is the total opposition to current flow in an A/C ckt. Just a little electrical knowledge to help you out down the line.
Harley, if ya see this comment, just start making fxr frames again with current power plants….It used to not be cost effective but you charge so much for a Harley now a days, I’m sure you could do it. Modernize the FXR for fuck sakes.
So the guy basically turned FXR into a Road King with FXR fairing and bags. But he did it the hard way. Not that anything wrong with it and I don't admire the craftsmanship. Just seem a long way to get to the Road King look and feel
This thing is so good. From the fab work to the entire aesthetic of the bike. I think he hit the nail on the head. Dream bike material in my book. Well done.
I'm humbled and honored by the work that you've put into this, Ben. 'Thank you' will never be enough.
You're welcome man! Thanks for sharing the knowledge!
An M8 FXR has been my dream for several years but being a disabled veteran living on basically nothing there’s been no way for me to realize this dream. Congratulations on a job well done.
Baddest FXR on the planet.
I’ve rewatched this about as much as I’ve rewatched the wire
That is the pinnacle of art and science. “Not rocket science” but requires vision and skill. Beauty.
I wanted to buy a FXR for my first HD but I’m no mechanic so I bought a FXLRST for reliability reasons. I’d absolutely love to have a FXR with a M8. That’s a beautiful ride!
Hands down one of my favorite spotlights. Dude is super well spoken and broke this build down in such a killer way. Great vid!

I could never get tired of listening to Cory. I'd love to see a media company make a TV series on his work.
Correction on my part: I referred the the drivetrain as 'air-cooled', when it's technically 'oil-cooled'. Doh!
Also Cory seems like a solid humble dude loving this episode thank you guys and thank you Corey for this build and shaking up the game 🙌
Super solid. Extremely nice and knowledgeable, and as you can tell from the video, willing to share it all and help people out.
Best episode yet hands down man keep these coming
Aw, thanks man! I'm glad that you dig it!

Great video! This is the very first M8 "Restomod" restoration bike I've seen. I love it, great work.
Absolutely great interview.
Pretty nice dude never got to see him speak a really great job his thought process his attitude…. just do the right thing
Cory's humble and he uses ingenuity to make it happen.
Not many builders in this Evo to M8 tred.💪🏾
Master of his craft, amazing!
wheels go perfect with this beautiful custom build!
I just came across your videos. I really like this dude. Seems like a great dude very knowledgeable and nothing hidden. For me wanting to get into building bikes I would love to learn from him.
Very, very impressive! Job well done👏
This was the one we where all waiting for 🙌🙌
This guy is badass. Beautiful bike and it was really cool to hear his thought process.
What a concept for a build! I thoroughly enjoyed this interview and video! Harley needs to make a bike like this as a part of their enthusiast or icon collection.
Very nice. Very clean. Very correct.
Beautiful bike! I have loved that style since I first saw it in early eighties.
It's nice to hear his perspective, nothing better than the stock look. Its inspiring me to keep working on my 2020 fxlr towards an M8 fxr. I wonder where the bags are from.
Work of art timeless
Great job
Great video and sick bike. Excellent editing 🤘🏼
This dude is a legend!
I keep coming back to rewatch this vid. Love this bike! And great story!
Good vid, bike, and information!
This bike is amazing. Well done.
Great interview such a awesome bike
Love these. It'd be super cool if there was a portion of the show where we could hear the bikes cold-start, and maybe some riding footage of it.
The cold start is in there right after the outro. I put the startups in there almost every video. Riding shots don’t always happen just because it’s time consuming and either the interviewee, or myself, doesn’t have the time. It’s on my to do list for the future, just not always possible.
Very admirable!

Omg that bike is a piece of art work so much work into it I’m glade I found your channel I love the content 🔥
GOOD JOB! LOOKS GREAT.
I wouldn’t mind owning the next one!!
Sure, just as soon as you help me with the all the electrical stuff…LOL
That bike is gorgeous! It's better looking than the new Harley FXRST.
That bike is beautiful!
Beautiful bike. Love it.
Keep it Up. Love it.
That's a nice built bike
Sweet bike!
Very, very cool

No sound clips of the engine running? (Unless I missed it)
After the outro (where I pretty much always put em 👍)
Awesome build I was thinking about converting wet heads to oil cooled just what's involved besides swapping out the oil pump and heads? What's about the ecm does it need to be flashed?
It's beautiful!

I would argue the 80 inch EVO was a more reliable engine than the M8, modern doesn’t necessarily mean reliable.

What are your thoughts on that front fork brace piece?
Can you tell that it really makes a difference in faster cornering?
Thanks
2 words....holy sh*!. Unbelievable. Thanks for sharing. Will that bike be at mama tried in Milwaukee?
Appreciate that! Nah, man…I won’t be there.
Inspiring!🤘😎⚡️
Beautiful bike.
Agreed! One of the cleanest out there
Question the rigidity of the frame (backbone, swingarm) with all those alterations. The FXR is known for being stout, wonder if it kept that.
I'd love to see an m8 with carburation... sick bike tho!
very nice build! Anyone know if anyone that had gone the reverse direction as in swaping in an Evo engine into an M8 bike ?
I would buy one of these of it was available.
As, much as I am a FXR EVO Purist. This, Scoot is Bitchen.
How much does that weigh, with and without the bags and fairing ?
💥💥
The gauge relocation kit....who makes it?
It’s from mymachinist ( @mymachinist or mymachinistdesigns.com )
Oh wow look at that so original.
Aw, bless your heart.
I've been wondering how one could put an M8 into a dyna.
SWEET!!!!
dam right ! and I'm in the market for a new bike.
im with this guy i why go out and buy a modern bike
✊😈
H-D Enforcer wheels?
Yessir, Enforcer 2’s
I want to find a nice fxr
I respect it! But now it looks like a goldwing
The bags and fairing are right off an FXRT. There were 5 or 6 different FXR’s from about 88 to 93
Wilson Jason Robinson Charles Hernandez Mark
Harley, if ya see this comment, just start making fxr frames again with current power plants….It used to not be cost effective but you charge so much for a Harley now a days, I’m sure you could do it. Modernize the FXR for fuck sakes.
Looks like an old goldwing
So the guy basically turned FXR into a Road King with FXR fairing and bags. But he did it the hard way. Not that anything wrong with it and I don't admire the craftsmanship. Just seem a long way to get to the Road King look and feel
All that talking about the bike and we didn't even get to hear it..
Watch til the end…
Solid
That air cleaner cover game is on point af🤘🛵 ITS A LIE hahaha
