I think it's such a problem that we accustomed to search for happiness in external stimuli that we never find and is just destroying us. We will only find real joy by embracing life/nature and having real interactions with other people. I'm planning to get this exact same flip phone and am really looking forward to it.

I think I want to ditch my iPhone for a flip phone also but I'm not 100% sure how to go about it. Were you able to transfer your number or did you tell all the contacts in your old phone the new number? I've had social media deleted for a long time so I think the transition will be smooth but I'm mainly going to miss Spotify. I guess I'll still have my computer though. Thank you
Hi!!! thanks for watching :)). I did completely get rid of my iPhone. I use this flip phone and also I have an e-reader that runs on android that I use to listen to music on Spotify. Its called the Boox Nova 3 . I was able to transfer my number. I think there is a way to transfer contacts but I just did it manually because there was alot of numbers in my iPhone that I no longer used. I hope you enjoy your experience with a flip phone. Its been over 3 months and I'm still loving it.
Great video, the distraction part hits close to home. Its so easy to get trapped in the smartphone rabbit hole of mindless scrolling and FOMO. Are you still using this combo?

Mind you, I'd replace my iPhone 12 with something like a Nokia 2780 if I switched to a "feature phone." Reason: you want a "feature phone" that supports Voice over LTE (VoLTE), given that many cellphone carriers are starting to shut down 2G (and sometimes 3G) digital cellular service in favor of 4G LTE and 5G digital cellular; older phones often don't support these new standards, and that could make the phone essentially useless.

Yes. I just switched the sim and then called my cell phone provider to change my data plan. I wasn't receiving messages from iPhones to my flip phone at first but I just had to go into settings and turn off imessage before removing the sim.

I also have a Sunbeam phone - i love it!! Mostly because i can still group text family! It does all I want - talk and text. Best phone ever!
