That thing HAULS and sounds CRAZY good for a single cylinder engine! When I was 8 I had a minibike with a 5HP B&S engine that ripped too, but 19 HP? That's nuts! I would really like to build one with a 24 HP V-twin (with a side shaft conversion) mounted sideways with a legit 6 speed transmission from a dirt bike. It'd have true duals with mufflers on each side like a big bike. That'd be my dream minibike build.
Not only a single cylinder but single speed as well.

This bad boy is rowdy, would love to see an extended swing arm build and some hardcore hillclimb action.
Lots of folks get all caught up in top speed numbers.....offroad you hardly ever get to crack it wide open for very long. Lower end power/torque is the ticket offroad "racing".
Definitely get myself hurt on that one.

I wish you could sell them bikes you custom make. The normal store pit bikes are never as good as the the nice custom bikes you make.

3k is a bit steep for a mini! You can spend a few hundred on extra parts for stock bike and still ride the trails with the best!

I have a MB200 with a 228 tillotson and i was wondering why i havnt been able to get it to go faster than 50mph but i think i just figured it out, mine has the stock sprocket on it because i figured i could just add more power to make up for the gearing but i am a heavier guy, I thought a 60 tooth would hold me back but it looks like i need it if i want to go faster
Question about that fuel tank, does it have a crossover tube? If not, how does all the fuel from the side without the petcock get to the carb?
Have you done a air filter up grade for sandy conditions .we go to glamis a lot sandy conditions .I'm talking generators .I bought a ferman generator blew it up sand got any ideas TKS .

I watched your videos, and you said that the trail master was the best minibike so I bought one. So now I have noticed that all the mods that you do on it is with the Tilletson motor or the predator motor, so does that mean that when I get my bike should I throw away the 196 motor? Is it a piece of crap?
Hello I watched every video on Redbeard's garage and I thought maybe you would be able to help me out with it question. This is about a moped two stroke. My moped it started with 50cc I changed the piston and the head and it's up around 72cc. I actually bought the moped with the racing exhaust already on it and a clutch kits changed everything else brand new bone stock so I did the rest of the upgrade the 72cc part still a stock carb though change the jetting obviously I'm running a 105 right now. The thing is I know I need a little bit bigger carburetor it's just it bolts on the flange with two bolts like a lot of carburetors do, 43 mm between the center of the two bolt holes. All the carburetors that I see online with the flange are spaced at least 48 mm apart. So I think I would need an adapter for the flange so I could put on a regular clamp on carb like the type you're showing maybe not as big because it's you know not as big of an engine and I'm not trying to do anything crazy I just just wanted to keep up with what was already done to it. Anyway maybe you can tell me where I could find an adapter or if I need to make one maybe? I can weld but I'm not the best yet. Right now it's the stock carburetor with an aftermarket nibbi filter. And it does run good right now it's just you can feel it's not hard to explain but you can feel it. Also any suggestions for a carburetor I'm open. Would be interesting if you were to throw hours meters on these bikes after the engine rebuild or replacement to see what kind of hours you get out of these hot rodded engines before they wear out.
About 50 from my own experience. But I constantly try to keep up with actual vehicles.

@@bradensmith888 is the tillitson flywheel ok for it? I have a tachometer and I'm only getting 5300rpm at full throttle
@@bradensmith888 the tillitson 212 flywheel is rated for up to 10000rpm so why wouldn't it be safe

nice I'm selling my mini bike I got a brand new 2023 hemi predator 212cc engine new centrifugal clutch new jackshaft chain new throttle and throttle cable new brake lever and cable. It costed over$250 to fix and I'm selling it for $450
Get a glue stick heat it up and ram it to the broken key let kool and pull out the busted key
I think he broke it off on purpose so he doesn't get locked out of the tank when he loses the key

Turning a Harley 6 speed trans is going to come with hp loss. Them trans are built to hundreds of ftlbs torq not tens of ftlbs . Cvt seems best way so far but maybe cool to see wat it do woth a 6 speed.

I'm looking to build up a pair of v-twin mini bikes for a camping trip, and I'm loking for people that have done more than use their bikes for more than a little bit of show, i have an area for around a 4 1/2 hour to an 8 hour round trip, im hoping to find more then just played around and cant find anything remotely close to what im looking for.
It's around a 500 or so mile round trip, im doing the build for next year after winter when we'll be able to get them out for longer periods of time.
Im hoping and looking for reviews and opinions on weather or not the colemans and v-twins i have on order and all of the gear to buld them up for the trip would be up for the full ride, I'm planning a week around the whole trip from start to finish.
I'm looking for options on sprocket ratios and how to get a good torque to speed ratio, i knnow sprocket size, cout and x:1 ratio has something to do with it, im calculating at about a 3 or 4 to 1 ratio with 670cc and 40 series converter, and running a max of about 9k rpm.
I would really like options and thoughts plz.
