Is comedy having a comeback? I avoided this clip for hours, and finally decided to give it a try. And wow, this took me by surprise. Think about it, she talked about having kids which is a subject even males talk about, but not about getting pregnant, which is the easiest route for a female comedian. I mean, every single joke in this clip is clever and takes you out of the confort zone built by many performers, that grew afraid of getting canceled for a single joke in recent years. This is what comedy used to be and I'm glad we didn't lose it completely.
"A speck off dust" was a masterpiece. It was soulful yet disgusting, hilarious but tender and the way she manipulated her audience was terrific. This is not good but Sarah being not good is the exception, not the norm.
Perhaps she should have done a Gilbert Gottfied after his bombed 911 joke and launched into a telling of "The Aristocrats" joke. :) Her's was one of the best and freshest retelling in the documentary about the joke incidentally. Sometimes there is an audience that just wants to hear dad jokes.
