I just did this to my new 22 xc-w 300. Air screw 1 turn out from flush runs perfect

I used this on my 2019 husky and this works a great 👍🏻 I did have to let it sit over night to get the screw out

As always, thanks for the info Jeff. I used CRC chlorinated brake cleaner. It is the RED can! Not the green can. No need to buy the fancy bob smith stuff, and you can always use the brake cleaner for other tasks. The white thread locker dissolved after I soaked it about 3 times over the course of about 3 hours. Worked perfectly. It came right out with a T10 torx bit. Cheers all!

Heating up the tip of the Allen wrench hot hot and letting it sit in grub screw worked well, plus some additional heat on the outside

I have a 19' 300 , GET ECU (with Slavens Maps) and Race Kit and found the bike runs great with the air screw 2.5 turns out.

Just finished installing on my 21 GG EC300. Debonder worked fine after two drenchings about two hours apart. Needed to set the gap a little larger than 4.75mm for a nice stable idle, but running great!

Just installed my slavens idle screw. I tryed the debonder overnight with no luck. Heat was the only way to get that old screw out.

30 seconds of heat it allowed a small turn and then 15 more seconds of heat applied. I then turned it in and out for a few turns and then all the way out with no problem. Just turn it very gentle...if it doesn't move then add more heat.

Tried the uncure. Let it soak heavily for four days. Wasn’t even close to budging. Ended up pulling out the throttle body and using MAP gas. My grub screw was heavily coated with a white loctite. Maybe some are more heavily coated than others, but I honestly feel that no amount of soaking this would’ve released the screw. Just my experience at least.

First off, I want to say this post is not about blaming anyone but rather sharing my experience that hopefully will help others My 2020 KTM 300 xc w has 195 hours and until recently idled good enough to "get by", so I never updated the idle screw. After watching another video that used Uncure on the OEM screw without removing the throttle body, I tried that method but couldn't get the OEM idle screw out even with soaking the screw regularly for 3 days using Uncure. After 3 days still couldn't get the screw out so went riding with some buddies yesterday. Rode up the first hill with a 180-degree turn at the top into a steep downhill. Went into the turn chopped throttle and the bike died, fell downhill landing face-first into rocks. Lost motor control of arms and hands for about 60 seconds, and first thought was ""oh shift this is the big one". Regained control of my arms and hands and my riding buddies helped me get up and walked back to the truck. Went to ER with some weird symptoms in both arms. Diagnosis is contusion of the spinal cord, C3/4 disc HNP, Neck Strain/Sprian, compression fracture at T11. My recommendation is DO NOT put off doing the Idle screw mod with heat per Jeff's video!!!! The good news is that I now time to fix the idle screw and to straighten up my garage before I trip and break a leg!!! Never stop riding!!! Cheers!!!

Id like to see a follow up or part 2 of this video showing you adjust the idle with the air screw and idle screw. I know it's same as a carb bike but still

Tried debonder on my 22 ec300. Soaked for 24 hours with multiple applications. No luck. I’ll keep it for other purposes. There was a hefty amount of loctite so my hopes weren’t high. 10 seconds of heat and it came right out. May work for others tho!
